My furnace was acting up i called they came out and tried to fix it it work for a month then same problem happened instead of trying to fix it again they told me I need a new furnace and a/c unit. They wanted 11000 dollars for it so I got a second option. All the problem was that the blower fan was loose and heat coil bad Wade already replace old on with new one. It broke and they won't honor the warranty on the coil pack.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Lonny took care of everything we needed. He was honest and did all due diligence to replace a furnace in an older home. He was reliable, honest and very trustworthy. Their team of installers were on time, efficient, nice and cleaned up everything. They went out of their way to find the right system and to install it quickly. Nicest experience and great furnace.
This furnace is quiet, efficient, was properly sized and installed and performs well with even heating throughout the house. The smart thermostat is very convenient and easy to use. Would give more stars if they had them!

I spoke with Wade Heating & Cooling at the PGH Home show. I was only interested in a Carrier System. From the first person I spoke with, I was impressed. Lonnie came and give us an estimate and was again impressed with his knowledge. He noticed a few things that were wrong. His bid was the cheapest of the 3 estimates I received. Steve and Dalton did the install and were great. Answered all my question, and left my home as clean as when they came.
I highly recommend this company. I also received and email from the owner about any question or concerns I might have. Very impressed with the company and their crew. Thank you, Linda

Air conditioner went out on me. I called Wade around 8pm and they had a technician on site less than 12 hours later which was great. He was knowledgeable and fixed my problem in about 20 minutes. The reason for the three stars is he charged me $167 for at $30 part. This was on top of the service fee for them to come look at the unit. I get putting a mark up on parts but over five times the cost is excessive! I would call someone else next time I have an issue.

Called for an estimate on a new AC unit. Knew that the motor was broken and wanted pricing for repair of motor vs a whole new unit. Receptionist I spoke with on the phone said that the she could send a tech out sometime during a 4 hour window. The tech was supposed to call 30 minutes in advance, and didn't show up until an hour later. Once he arrived at my house he looked at the motor and went outside to make a call to see how much a new motor would cost, that took 15 mins and he came back with no result as he could not get a hold of anyone.
Another 20 mins of taking measurements for a new unit to get me an estimate. And I was charged with a $99.95 service fee! After paying the fee, I was confused and unsure of why I had just paid for a "free estimate". I called the company back and the same receptionist, Linda, explained to me that having a tech come out is considered a "service" and I must pay for said service.
When scheduling the appointment, no fee was ever discussed and had I known this I could have waited for someone who was not a tech to come out and give me a bid. After Linda got nasty with me on the phone I asked to speak to a manager and Steve did call me back in a timely fashion and apologized for the miscommunication and said I would be refunded my money, which was great.however I never received my estimate for a new unit and when I called a few days later (with no AC in July) to ask when I could expect to get the estimate, Linda was very nasty on the phone with me again and said that since the company refunded my money they were no longer interested in providing me with a bid and I could take my business elsewhere.so I will!

I had a competitor come to do a tune up on my furnace and was informed that the furnace is 21 years old and he heat exchanger was going to last me maybe one more season. Okay, not news that anyone wants to hear, but it is reality. I did some shopping around for businesses that carry my current brand of furnace. I emailed Wade Heating and Cooling on the weekend and received a call back on Monday.
The gentleman was extremely pleasant, offered me a quote, which of course is an estimate and things may change, but was very understanding and explained the differences between two furnaces that may be best suited for our home. I have to say that I was honest and upfront with him about shopping around and once he quoted me, it was spot on with another local supplier.
You want to talk about knowledgeable and professional. This place is simply marvelous and I wish they were closer to me so I could provide them with business. I am on the outskirts of their servicing area and they understand that consumers prefer as close to home as possible for those unforeseen circumstances that arise. Thank you Lonnie for your amazing outlook, explanation, and recommendations. You are a definite asset to this company!

Had Wade come out to my parent's house as a second opinion. They wound up getting the job due to their competitive price and excellent customer service. Their estimate was spot on and their service tech and installers were patient with my 80+ year old parents, did high quality work. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I had Wade Heating and Cooling come out to take a look at my central A/C unit to see if they could get it running. The person who answered the phone and scheduled my appointment was very pleasant to deal with. They had a technician on-site the next day. He was very helpful and seemed fairly honest. I have an older UNIT and assumed it would simply need to be replaced.
To my surprise, the technician was able to get the unit running and took the time to do a general inspection of the system. He did say that we should probably budget to replace the unit next summer. What I really liked about the situation over-all is that this guy could have come in and said "eh, you should replace this unit. Oh, by the way, we sell units." Instead of doing that he got our current unit running for a fair price, explained that the repair should get us through the summer, and recommended that we save some cash to replace it next summer. It was a very honest assessment, I will certainly call Wade again when I am ready to replace my system.
