On 4/4/22 Sean came to our house to do a check on our water heater. The cost of this visit was $ 171.20. At the time he recommended replacement of the water heater and quoted a total price of $ 2,873 for replacement and installation. I spoke with Dawn and Rob at the office and told them that I believed that the final cost should be reduced by 10 % due to the inventory reduction sale and also by the $ 171.20 service call which I was told would be deducted from the final bill.
Neither of them disputed these numbers. Today ( 4/12/22 ) Sean came and did the replacement/installation work. When the work was completed, I was told that the final bill would be $ 2,462.95, which was $ 48.15 more than I was quoted. I was quoted one price and then was charged a larger amount when the work was completed. I made the decision to have the work done based on the price of $ 2,414.80 which was the price based on the reductions for the inventory sale and the initial service visit. No one that I talked with at Appolo questioned this figure. Appolo owes me a refund of $ 48.15. P.S. --- Sean did a good job.

In August of 2021 I had plumbing issues in the cellar, replaced an old sink with a new one, by Colin. Was very pleased with the complete installation. Today 4/8/22 There was water coming from the pipe below the sink. Called Appolo And they sent a service man Tom. The pipe under the sink and the cellar was loose and he tightened it put water in the sink to make sure it wasn't leaking.
The service was covered under the warranty. Was very pleased with his professional manner in which he handled the issue. And explained various things to me and respect to the work that had been done. I would recommend Colin and Tom to anyone that needs plumbing assistance. Because of this I am giving a high rating. Thanks to them for their prompt and efficient service.

I called at 9:30am, spoke to a very pleasant lady and had a technician at my house by 11:30 am. T om was very professional, Easy to relate to and knowledgeable. Confirmed my suspicion of a dead laundry room sump pump and replaced it promptly. This is second time I have used Apollo and am impressed with their costumer service. Hope it is not needed but would not hesitate to use company again.

We had a leaky shower and a leaky kitchen faucet for the sink. Our service person arrived earlier than planned and he got right to work. He was very polite, friendly, and explained everything he would have to do to repair the damages. He was thorough and completed all his tasks in a timely manner. We will call him back every time! I first started using Appolo four years ago, when I was looking to replace my heating system, and to add a/c. Their representative provided the most comprehensive quote--both in terms of the size of the system, as well as options to optimize performance. The price and 24 month, interest-free financing worked well for our budget. Since then, I have used them for maintenance on the system, as well as for general plumbing needs.
Yesterday afternoon, my wife and I noticed water on the kitchen floor. When we opened the door beneath the sink, everything was soaked! I called Appolo. I was told that they could have someone here between 8 and 9 this morning. I received a call shortly after 8. The plumber was on his way. He arrived a short while later, ; looked at the configuration; and explained what needed to be done. Within an hour, the work was completed. Great job!

We have a service contract with them. We called them because our water heater quit and was leaking. They came out and then told us they lacked the permit required by the City of Albany to install a water heater. Our mailing address is Albany and a simple Google search or asking us would have told them we live in the City. Why didn't they tell us up front so we could have called someone else?

I have used Appolo 3x now over the past 10 years or so and each time I have really liked the people they have sent out and this last time was no exception. Sean did a great job and was very personable and respectful. He even took extra time to give me more information on the problem and fixes to do in the future. Colin was punctual and very professional. We had a backed up sewer line and he explained the process and costing up front. He took the time to explain everything, put down a plastic runner so as not to soil our carpet, and went right to work. He had us back up and functional within an hour. It's rare to find such exceptional customer service like he displayed. I will highly recommend Appolo to friends and colleagues and they will be my go-to company moving forward. I always request Josh Aiken for my furnace and a/c maintenance. He answers my questions patiently & is professional yet friendly. For my water heater installation, my tech was Tom. Also friendly, professional & efficient. He had me inspect everything before he left & explained the heater settings. Both men are outstanding representatives for their company.

Josh Aiken has been at our house on multiple occasions, to repair, install, and work on various parts of our 21 year old radiant heating and hot water system. He has always been professional, thorough, and totally responsive to my fears and concerns, and also to my many questions. In addition to his patient personality, he has also performed all work with competence and in a timely fashion. They did great work. No complaints there. My only complaint is their pricing. They charged me twice to do two lines and then a third time because it was over 2 hours. Understanding how they charge is important. They told me about the over two hours second charge but never really mention the additional charge for snaking two lines.

The water heater failed spectacularly on a Sunday, Appolo was able to come and ensure that we had working cold water and laid out a plan to get us a new water heater as soon as possible. He was courteous, knowledgable, and friendly during the entire service call. They were able to get us up and running with a new water heater in a short time and provided us with all the information we needed during and after the install. They were even able to come earlier than their appointment. All-in-all a positive experience.

I have had an annual service contract with Appolo Heating for over 5 years now covering my air-conditioning, heating, tankless water heater, gas fireplace, humidifier and UV light sanitizer. While I have never had a breakdown of any equipment, I had one instance on a Christmas eve several years ago where we had heavy snow and a drift covered the exterior fresh air intake and the system shut down.
When I discovered the issue and removed the snowdrift and the system didn't start up right away, I called Appolo to see if I could get them to come out the next day. While I was on the phone arranging for a service call, the heater came on and I did not complete the appointment. I mention this because the company was setting up a response on a holiday to address my problem.
I routinely receive a call from Appolo to schedule servicing of my equipment and they accommodate my schedule, call again a day or two in advance to confirm and give me a window of their arrival, and get a call on the day of the appointment letting me know when the service person is on their way. They have always been courteous, thorough, and have kept everything operating as expected. I am very pleased with Appolo and would recommend them to anyone.
