Tech came out and in 15min said that he didn't have time for the project today, and then left despite knowing what needed to be done. A vaccuum out of the system and adding refrigerant to the new minisplit. He claimed that the fittings needed reflaring. They did not. I hired another company to come in and finish the vaccuum out of the system and he did it in less than an hour and charged us less than the badger guy by 40$ and said that it was installed correctly nothing was wrong with the installation and fittings didn't need reflaring. Badger guy did nothing and diagnosed the problem wrong. Then charged us 220$ for 15min of nothing, and a wrong diagnosis.

On February 24, 2022, while out of the country, my neighbor noticed our furnace was not working (temperature in the house was 28 degrees). I asked them to call Badger Heating in Stevens Point to get the furnace repaired. Employee appeared an hour later, neighbors stayed at the home the entire time the furnace was being repaired. As soon as the furnace started, the Badger employee left--he did not wait in the house to make sure everything was running properly. Needless to say, during the next 12 hours, frozen pipes ruptured causing extensive water damage. Badger called my neighbor the following morning to check on the system and found the ruptured heating pipes.

It's been a nightmare since. I'm writing this 6 weeks later without heat in my master bedroom. We have called Badger repeatedly to complete the repair on the new baseboard they installed. They sent me a bill saying everything is working--but it's not. One morning mid March, two employees came over, said they were going to the warehouse to get flanges and never returned or called (for the whole day!).

We waited all day for their return. We continue to call; Badger says, "someone will be over this week"--a week goes by, nobody comes. The following week, an employee just 'drops by' (no call) and stays a few minutes, and leaves. I'm dealing with all this post traumatic stress from going out of town and coming home to thousands of dollars of damage and a heating company that can't seem to finish what they started!

They were quick to respond and they did a great job repairing the issue. If you're going to use this service, just be advised that they overcharge their parts by about 200-300%. Means if they install an $80 Reducing Valve, they'll charge you about $240 for it. A $60 backflow preventer will run you about $200. That's not including the price of labor which will be hundreds of dollars per Stevens Point Service Call.

Be sure to get a cost estimate from them prior to the work being done, then hit up any standard retail website to compare parts cost. If it looks good to you, then by all means, use them.

Absolutely the worst they told me they would get back to me and have someone out within the hour and after calling multiple times to ask when someone's coming out I got the same answer I will get there when we get there very terrible customer servicep ended up having to call someone else out. and I finally got a call three days later from them asking if someone ended up coming out our business will never use this terrible company again.

Just had my yearly furnace check done. Badger always comes in and does a thorough job. They are quick, clean and knowledgeable.

Our 24 year old furnace died after the recent cold spell, they were out here within hours after the call. They kept the old furnace working so we had heat until the new furnace we ordered could be installed. The new furnace was installed within a week. Everyone we dealt with was outstanding. Maintenance and installation personnel were very professional, punctal, and they explained everything we needed to know about the new furnace. Highly recommended.

Our 15-year-old geothermal heating/cooling system was not working, and the weather was getting colder. I called four HVAC service companies. The first did not answer the phone; the second said they would be in our area in 2 weeks; the third would not even discuss an appointment until we gave them a credit card; the fourth was Badger. The lady who answered the phone said a repair person would be at our home at 11:30 a.m. that morning, and he later called to confirm. "Will" was great, diagnosed the issue, said he would be back to install a new fan motor. He ordered it and it arrived ASAP and was installed as promised. We love Badger and can recommend them without reservation.

We highly recommend Badger Heating &Air Conditioning. When DJ came over for our twice a year heating/AC inspection, he noticed our makeshift dryer venting and informed us he could fix it. He quoted a reasonable price and was able to do the work that day. DJ did a very neat, professional job and we are so happy it did not have to go through the, hard to get to, crawl space.
