According to the U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Star program, leaky ducts in attics or crawlspaces can account for 20 percent or more of a home's heating and cooling energy losses. You may have heard about ductless heating and cooling systems, but do you know about their advantages? The most common HVAC systems are central air conditioners and heat pumps that use ducts to deliver conditioned air throughout a building. Ductless systems are more flexible than traditional systems, because ductless systems don't use ductwork.

Got a new house, needed a new thermostat. Unit I bought did not operate as per the instructions. Russell (the tech) showed up early! (Scott's sends out a text message notifying the customer that the tech is on the way) Very personable and professional. Identified the problem (thermostat wiring diagram was wrong) and wired it properly. Russell then let me know that the condensation line from the furnace was improperly routed (home inspector notified me that the line was broken and needed replacement and had damaged one of the ducts) and not up to code.
I called Scott HVAC again to get the condensation line replaced and re-routed and to fix the damage to the duct. Russell arrived early again! Duct damage was much more extensive than the inspector had seen. Russell et. al. replaced and properly routed the condensation line and repaired the hole in the ducting. Again, very professional and personable.
Quick work done right. I've signed up for a maintenance contract for my HVAC systems with Scott's. They are the folks I want showing up when something needs attention. Monica in the office is great, too. I recommend Scott's without reservation. *John Rose

WORST service ever! I used this company to install a new Furnace and AC unit 10 years ago. They did a fantastic job. I attempted to use them again in 2021 (repeat customer) to install a new mini-split, do vent maintenance and HVAC work at new home. COMPANY FAILED TO ARRIVE AT SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS from February through October 2021, continually putting me off.
They then called me the day before a final scheduled appointment and declined to do the project because they were "too busy." Company refuses to work with Home Warranty companies and could not repair any of the projects that were requested. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. ***Update*** I found Gordon's Heating and Air out of Pendleton. They gave me a quote for 3 Top of the line Mini Split heater/cooler units and had them installed within 2 weeks! Couldn't be happier with the price and service!

Absolutely Fantastic experience. Our Technician arrived on time and was absolutely professional (even the dog loved him). The problem with our furnace was worn-out sequencers but they weren't standard parts anymore. The guys from Scott's found workable replacements and installed them right. Based on this experience, If we have need of further HVAC repair or installation we'll definitely choose Scott's to do the work. Positively fantastic.

I went through Scott's in 2020 when I was having issues with my Air conditioner. They came out and got it working. I never received a Bill In the mail and they sent me to collections. As soon as I was made aware, I paid it in full. I'm always prompt with payment and would have paid ASAP if I received the bill via mail. Fast forward a year and my furnace is not working.
I called and they scheduled me a week out. They didn't call until my scheduled appointment time to let me know they will not service me because of the prior billing issue. I explained to her what had happened about the bill and she denied me service. I have a friend who works there and knew as well because he was going to make sure I got the Bill so I could pay it quickly.
I'm frustrated because I've been using them for years and they waited until my appointment that I had been waiting for (it's cold and I have no heat and an infant at home) to tell me they won't serve me. I found it extremely unprofessional and do not recommend them.

Scott's were the most professional company, we had a miscommunication on the design of the system. Ryan made it right, they came back and re-worked the feeds to the indoor units and changed out an outdoor unit, a lot of work but all in the name of customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Scott's and the Mitsubishi split head system. I could not be more impressed with Scott's and their dedication to customer service.

I have been very impressed with the service provided. Over the years we have been able to call on Scott's for our home and business needs. Just recently we had our furnace go out at work over the weekend and they responded immediately and had us back and running in just 30 minutes. Kind, friendly, prompt service, competitive prices. Couldn't ask for better service.

Scott Heating and Air Conditioning installed my refrigerated air 10+ years ago, and installed A/C in my rental unit about 5 years ago. I have had other work done by Scott contracting and believe in their quality of service. When recommending anyone to do A/C work I always say do a comparison and if it's a few dollars more, go with a name that will deliver time and again.

Scott's has treated us exceptionally well each time we have used their services. Scott and his associates are honest, good people who are fair in their business dealings. We once had a problem with our business furnace over a cold winter weekend. Their technician spent several minutes troubleshooting the problem before discovering it was only a loose wire in the unit. They did not charge us for the visit and merely told us Merry Christmas. We are so glad to have Scott's in our community.

I have nothing, but good things to say about Scott's Heating and Air Conditioning. They were the ones my grandmother called and they helped her in many ways to keep her home the temp she liked. When we bought her house, we stayed with them. One time our heating went out and they checked it out. It was the blower. Unfortunately, the blower was out dated and not available, but they checked their inventory.
They had one and only charged us for the visit. We would have had to get a new heating unit or have to special order the updated part, had they not. They told us our furnace was a good and efficient one, so replacing the blower would give many more years of service. Another time, we were painting and had to move our gas stove. We bent the gas line and needed to replace it.
This happened around the holidays, so things were busy. We felt handy enough that they explained the process and what we needed to get and we were were on our way. No charge. Everyone has their experience, but we've always had good ones with Scott's Heating & Air Conditioning. Wish we could bring them along to our new home town. Thanks for all the good years of service!

What I said before about these folks was the truth. I'm here today to polish that up a smidge. Pick up the ameche, call em up, tell em what's not work'in, ask em to send ol' Russ out, he'll tell you what the fix is, what it's gonna take, how many ways you can address it and for how much cabbage you're gonna have ta lay out.
Not only that, if he says that's how it is. then that's how it is. No BS, no nonsense, he won't make you a patsy. When he takes it on the heel you have the "right" info. Want some new stuff, they got it. Want something no one ever heard of? They'll build one. They're courteous, knowledgeable, FAST FAST FAST and concerned about what it is YOU want, not what they are selling. That's the crop. If you elect to deal with someone else locally. who provides the same services. shhhhh listen. listen real hard. Can you hear me laughing? hahahahahhahaha!
