I have used KW for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. They have been consistently on time and professional, and have worked with me when I had unusual requests. Based on my experience with them over the last two years, between three different properties, I would recommend them to anyone. Price wise, they have been affordable but not "cheap". I've never felt ripped off or overcharged, and their pricing is transparent.

We have used KW multiple times and it has always been a pleasure. Each time they have arrived on time and were always willing to go the extra mile during the service call. KW will definitely be my first call. Services: Electrical outlet & switch installation, A/C system maintenance, Electrical outlet & switch repair, Repair HVAC, Electrical panel repair

We needed a new water heater installed ASAP. I set up a package deal at a local home improvement store that included installation and was referred to the folks over at KW Mechanical. Two gentlemen showed up the same day and although they were both nice and polite the lead guy was clearly looking for reasons they couldn't do the job. I was told my flue was not venting properly and would have to have an HVAC person come over and fix the problem.
A local HVAC person stopped by later the same day, checked the flue and venting and said it was fine. He explained the flue needs a heat source to actually reverse the flow of air outward. He demonstrated this and the flue vented just fine. By now, it was too late to have the installers come back out and when I talked to someone at KW Mechanical they were still resisting doing anything until the flue was redesigned to their liking.
So I cancelled this install and went to another home improvement store and purchased a combo package that included the water heater and the install. Strangely enough I was referred to this same company but quickly cancelled them in favor of another installer who never called me back. Long story short, I found another installer who came out this morning (Saturday), did the job in a short amount of time, went over everything with me, showed me how to operate the water heater, and gave me a flat price for the job which was significantly cheaper than this company was going to charge (BTW, KW Mechanical was going to nickel and dime me on every little thing). Oh, and he also checked the flue and it worked just fine. So bottom line -- don't waste your time with KW Mechanical.

Had to replace the water heater in the home. Bought a new water heater from Home Depot and used the Home Depot installation service. K W Mechanical was the company contracted to install. The technician kept me informed when he would show up to do the work. Took out the old gas power vent heater and installed the new in less than two hours. Did have an issue with the power vent line hitting the water pipe during operation which would produce a noise that was transmitted thru the pipes. No worries, K W sent a technician out to fix the problem with no charge.

I purchased a hot water heater at Lowes. KW Mechanical showed up to install it and told me the new one would not fit. They also told me they could not even get the old one out because the gas line was in the way, although it was installed with the gas line there when it was replaced last time. He said the gas line would need to be moved. He advised I would need to call a plumbing contractor because KW does not do that kind of work. Their website claims they are a full service plumbing company, but apparently they are not.

Beginning on January 24th I finally received an email back after nearly 3 weeks of Home Depot stating they put in a request with one of their contractors (this company). Finally by Friday January 26th at 2:17pm Jim Eggemeier from the company emailed me asking when I would be available. I replied January 27th at 12:47pm with, "All day on Monday or Tuesday" (30th or 31st of January).
On Monday January 30th I emailed him at 8:27am asking, "Do you know when you are coming so I can make sure my husband is home and so we can move the car out of the garage to make it easier for you to get to the water heater?". Today is February 9, 2017 at 12:00pm and I still have not received a reply. I would never recommend them because after waiting and waiting (with a constant water leak in my current water heater, meaning I have a steady stream of water coming from the water heater to my drain in my garage) I have been forced to seek another professional to install my water heater. The picture below is the email correspondence. I removed my personal information but kept all correspondence with date/time stamp to corroborate what I stated above.

After a week and a half I finally got a new water heater, and running water in my home, no thanks to K W Mechanical. 3 days in a row I was told they were booked solid and would have to wait until "tomorrow". I lost 2 days of work sitting at home waiting for them to show up. When I was paying out of my own pocket, they were able to make an emergency / after hours service call.
They send a kid who tells me he's never installed a water heater before, and they send him out with the wrong water heater. It won't fit. He tells me they have 6 or 7 guys that do nothing but water heaters. I'd have to call in the morning to reschedule.and for the third time I was told they were booked solid and would have to wait until tomorrow. When it became a warranty issue through my home owners warranty an after hours emergency service call was no longer offered.
I guess my frustration got the better of me to the point they stopped taking my phone calls and cancelled my order. I felt no consideration on their part for the situation I was in. I had had water streaming out of my water heater going on 4 days and the only way to stop it was to shut water off to the entire house. My wife and I had to stay in a hotel until we could locate another plumber and the right water heater, and all this right before Thanksgiving. Needless to say, Thanksgiving dinner was scaled back a bit this year. Hard to prepare a meal, any meal, when you have no water to cook with or wash dishes afterwards.
