Superior Air really stood up to the name, SUPERIOR! I own a Flower Shop and we were in desperate need for a new refrigerator. Larry guided me in the right direction and told me what I needed. We got a refrigerator that was bigger than my old one and SO MUCH more energy efficient. This one is constantly at the proper temperature, air tight and keeps my flowers fresher than ever!
During the holidays it is extra full and with my old refrigerator I wouldn't be able to sleep at night not knowing if it would over heat and the temperature would rise. This refrigerator, PERFECT. Never a worry. Not only has it improved the life of my flowers, had temperature control, but it has also lowered my PG&E bill. I would recommend Larry and Superior Air every time!

We have been using Superior Air to service our home air conditioning system for years. As many know, here in the Central Valley, it is almost a requirement to have a system to maintain our homes habitable during those weather extremes. Last summer, our original AC unit finally died. After providing almost 15 years of service to our home. We called Superior Air and had a new Carrier unit installed in our home.
This unit has been stellar in its 7 months of service till last Saturday. We received an error on the control panel and lost all heat to our home. Called first thing Monday morning, and a technician came out within the hour and had our unit operating again. This group have always been courtesy, professional, and honest with their feedback. They are a real asset in the Visalia area.

Superior Air is the best HVAC (air-conditioning) service I have ever worked with, and as a General Contractor I have worked many. From the very beginning to resolution all was professional, competant and cost effective. Janett was polite and informative when I called about my furnace producing cold air. She immediately scheduled an appointment that day for early afternoon. Brandon arrived on schedule, perfomed a diagnostic and explained in detail the problem.
He patiently answered all my questions and explained the pros and cons of two different remedies. He perfomed the fix we agreed to and at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend Superior Air. They are by far the best option in Visalia, heads above other HVAC repair and install companies I have worked with in the area.

Our furnace heater stopped working overnight. I reached out to multiple companies and Superior Air offered the quickest response as well as the best price! The technician was at our house within 2 hours of my initial message. He not only solved our problem but also managed to fix an extremely annoying sound our furnace made. I would highly recommend superior air to anyone with heater/ac needs.

If I could give this company 6 stars, I would! We are renovating our 100+ year old house and we have hired many, MANY contractors for various things over the last 18 months, and Superior Air is by far the best company we've worked with. Our house hadn't had any type of central air/heating so we had to go with the whole deal for the whole house.
We were worried it would be a headache (like everything else has been) but thankfully Superior Air made it easy. Thank you guys! This company has integrity and a strong work ethic, and they followed through with everything they said they would. When we contacted them, we ALWAYS got a return call. We even had a foreman come to our house on a Sunday (his day off) to make sure that everything was in place for the next phase of work we needed done.
Every worker that showed up at our house was polite and respectful of our property, and believe it or not they actually cleaned up after themselves (first contractor or sub-contractor to do that, sad to say)! Plus, the office staff were friendly and helpful and easy to work with. This is a well-run, professional company that I highly recommend!

My daughter and son in law called Superior Air, and because they were both at work, my husband drove across town to meet the service guy. When my husband arrived the company truck was already there, and the service man was in the backyard. My husband checked in with him, and let him know that he was there, and went in the house. A few minutes later our daughter got home.
My husband let her know the guy was in the backyard. She went out there but he was gone. My husband questioned our daughter about the company truck, and she said there wasn't a truck there when she got home. She called the office and the woman who answered said the service guy reported nobody was there to meet him; our daughter explained that her father was there and spoke with the guy, but the woman insisted that he would not have made the call if he had indeed spoken to someone. Needless to say there was no rescheduled appointment. Dishonest people!
Since this initial post Superior Air reached out to our daughter and wanted to make good on this call. They came out and fixed the air with no charge. So, the stepped it up. Great job!

Working in the aviation industry, I know something about systems design and quality. Over the past month, I have been working with Larry at Superior Air about designing a replacement system for our house. Larry excels at proper system design and his feedback is well-respected by one of the largest HVAC professionals community exchange forums online.
I have found Larry to be thoughtful, reachable, patient and very knowledgeable about top-of-the line Carrier Infinity systems. On his system installations, Larry does a time-consuming Manual J house design load analysis which I have found very few installers do out here. If you are lucky enough to live in his service area, do not hesitate to chose Larry at Superior Air for your system design, install and/or audit. Your comfort level and energy savings will be rewarded as a result, as were mine.

Great service from them in the past and they are amazing with information and customer service. Have used them for Home and Business. This time they priced out a motor fan replacement and wanted to charge $600.00+ for a $170.00 motor. Something that would take less than 1 hour to replace they wanted over $400.00 to do it. Asked for some reduction in price in the matter and informed them that I knew what the motor cost and they said they would offer a 10% discount.
Now it was $580.00. Still a $400.00 labor charge. I have ordered the motor from Amazon for 173.00 and will replace myself. Was willing to pay a labor charge as I know you have to make margin to survive, but at this rate it's not going to be from me.

A great experience. Sunday the air conditioner starts making this buzz-saw noise, I called our home warranty, made a claim, and then remembered that the home warranty is great for anything except when the air conditioner goes out--they are not that prompt, and who knows who they are going to send out--and naturally the AC only breaks down when it's 100 degrees for a long stretch.
So Superior Air had actually been at our house in the past on a home warranty claim, and I remembered I was impressed. Anyway, canceled the home warranty claim, called Superior, made an appointment for them to come out (Wednesday; by contrast the home warranty's policy is that you're going to get a call within 24 "business hours" to make an appointment and then at that point you get to find out when they can come). Brandon from Superior shows up, trouble-shoots, replaces the bad part, cleans the unit, explains the process thoroughly with examples, and we're back in business without wiping out the bank account. Happy wife, happy life.

Worst place to be if you're going to train as pilot Trust me I was there for a week and their real colors came out and trust me I guarantee you this if you don't have any private transportation for yourself don't think the academy will provide anything even if you're dying and they don't allow students to use the kitchen so I'd recommend whoever sees this rethinks their decision

If there was a 6th star these guys would get it! Larry was so pleasant to work with and his quote came in significantly lower than his competitors. Larry's staff, (especially Steve), were extremely knowledgeable and very respectful and courteous. I am extremely satisfied with the HVAC system and the customer service that this company provides from the receptionist to the owner. Well done Steve, you have an amazing staff and a great business that I highly recommend.

Larry is absolutely amazing, and I'm so happy to have found him. We had a nightmare situation with another HVAC contractor who installed the wrong-sized system on our house and was trying to convince us that everything was alright. I found Larry while seeking advice on the HVAC-Talk.com forums. He walked me through everything I needed to know, and he even ran a test to provide us with the necessary information to push for the appropriate changes with the other contractor. Larry is incredibly generous and knowledgeable, and he's clearly looking out for the best interests of his customers. I really can't recommend him highly enough.

I called a few days ago to request service on my AC. I knew it's hadn't been serviced in at least 8 yrs. I was honest and told them so. The scheduler gave me a few different options for the service and pricing. The serviceman came out, was polite, got right to business and got it done in about 15-20 mins. I was a little worried that they might have found something wrong, but no he just said it needed cleaning. Honest and reliable! Thank you, Superior Air!

Larry goes beyond just normal customer service. I posted on hvac-talk with some questions about a Manual J/load calculation that seemed high. Larry helped me identify numerous issues with it and here is the really impressive part: I LIVE IN TEXAS! Larry took time out of his day to help me when he couldn't gain any business from me. I think more than anything that speaks to his dedication to his craft and to his integrity. If I lived near Superior Air I would absolutely use them as my HVAC contractor. Thanks again!

It's always a treat to meet and have some interaction with people like Larry at Superior Air. I am particularly picky when it comes to contractors and the work they perform. In an area that I know very little about like HVAC it becomes very difficult to sort through the different opinions from multiple contractors. Then I meet a guy like Larry.
Keep in mind that we are hundreds of miles apart and there is no sale opportunity for Superior Air. Larry graciously shared his knowledge in regard to the system I needed to repair or replace. He gave me great things to look for, what to watch out for and more. His design standards are state of the art and monitored by third parties to ensure compliance.
In the end, Larry helped me sort through some bids and he suggested one as a standout. He helped me validate what they were offering to do and knew of the contractor I ultimately chose through some common certifying agencies. Larry's gracious unbiased input (since he had no business opportunity himself) was greatly appreciated. I am very grateful for his assistance In the end, I chose a competing brand and a great contractor.
I have to be honest and say that my ultimate choice is one I almost completely discounted because his approach was so much different than all others who offered bids. They were different because all of the others took an old school approach to my installation. It certainly would have worked but would not be optimum in performance and energy efficiency.
The certified installation I chose was a 20% smaller compressor system that is more than capable of heating and cooling my home. The initial cost is lower than the larger units and I am completely confident the energy cost savings will be very notable. Why do I say all of this? Well, because if you need a system in Larry's area of service you too can realize the benefits of a state of the art sizing and installation experience. Larry's approach will most certainly be the same as the guidance he gave me. I highly recommend you speak to Larry about your HVAC needs. I rarely give 5-star reviews. Id give more here if I could.
