So for the second time used these guys for my MOT and service - also used a couple of months ago to change my tyres. So friendly and workmanship is of a high quality. As a woman with very little knowledge of cars I am never intimidated or feel that I may have been taken advantage of. Would definitely recommend. Services: Brake service & repair, Oil change

Paid for a pre mot to see what health the motorhome was in. Got notified of a few things that needed doing, was told I would receive a quote, have not received a quote and also was told I would have corrosion to chasis /floor sections marked down on the mot if I had one, when asked about where this corrosion was he just said there has been repair work in the past. So let me guess now when you need repair work doing on a mot you have to list all past repairs now do we. I think I won't be coming back

We have all our family cars serviced MOTd and corrective work carried out by lakeside. They are very professional efficient and competitive with their prices. Won't go anywhere else as we trust them 100% to do the work that needs doing and not overcharge or do work that doesn't. Would recommend them to everyone.

I came on the 26th March for an air con recharge and found them to be brilliant open and honest. Air con was recharged quickly and back working again and received some good advice on my car for other items. Felt very relaxed and was charged the quoted price too. Def be visiting again should I need a garage

Called for after hour service since my heat is out and I have small kids. The guy finally called me back after an hour because he was sleeping even though the voicemail says someone will call you within a half hour. Got to my house and took a half hour just to tell me it was a bad igniter, which the diagnostic light was already saying. and it costs $30 every 15 minutes on top of the $109 to come out.

Then I was quoted $480 (after he said I was looking at around $400 but apparently the price jumped up $80 when I asked for an exact amount) since an igniter after hours is supposedly $300?!? Igniters are not $300! So I wasted $170 to have someone come out, and not even fix anything! I sat and cried. I feel like I was taken advantage of and had to pack my kids up at 2am to go to a family members house because my house is way too cold.

Now I get to spend more money I don't have to get someone to fix it and not rip me off. I get there's after hour pricing but almost $500? Then has the nerve to tell me to have a good night while I have tears down my face. Wow. Edit to add: Had someone from a different company come out the next day who diagnosed and got it done in 10 MINUTES for dirt cheap!

Had mini split system installed last November. Salesperson was very convincing, but there were several stressful miscommunications leading up to install. For example: -- Despite previous assurances that the possibility of lead paint in our 100 year old house was not an issue, at the last minute the general manager said we had to hire lead paint specialists at an extra cost. Lakeside split this cost with us, which I thought was fair, but I wish I knew ahead of time. -- A week before the install, the salesperson needlessly caused us a lot of stress by telling us that the installers would have to rip out some built-ins. (This was not required.) There was a lot of confusing communication, until we started talking with the super competent install supervisor instead of the salesperson. -- Company didn't show up at scheduled date; called us morning of.

They forgot to cancel with their electrician, who showed up when they weren't there. Not a big deal, but now part of a bigger picture. Since then, the AC has broken twice, leading to water in the house (but no water damage). At least the first problem was probably caused by installers not properly securing the condensate line; my bet is this is the cause of the second problem too. I'm trying to get it fixed now. Also, because of the way a condensate line was installed, a little bit of our wood siding is now perpetually wet, and I think this will cause rot.

In defense of Lakeside, I'll say that the General Manager John Boylan has worked hard to quickly sort out most issues; this is why I've held off writing a bad review for almost a year. Also, the install crew was super nice, and their supervisor James was wonderful. But enough is enough, and at this point overall the experience has been very disappointing.

Final note: I also had a Lakeside tech out to look at my boiler once. After having trouble answering my questions, he started looking for answers in one of my books on boilers, and I asked him to leave. Lakeside didn't charge me for the visit.

Lakeside goes above and beyond. We have geothermal heating and cooling, the system was 12 years old and over that time we had to do some minor repairs. Lakeside came out right away and beat another company's estimate to replace the system. There was no question we went with Lakeside. Installation was fast, the guys were friendly and respectful. Connor was our sales guy and has been able to help us with all questions before and after the installation. They make you feel like your buisness matters and that they care about you. 100% recommend, you wont be sorry.

Lakeside Service has never let us down in the past, and this time was more of the same great service. Our furnace was really gasping for life, and Lakeside came to the rescue. Conor K came out the same day and gave us a great quote for a furnace and hot water heater - considerably lower than any other that had been presented to us. Great financing was offered, and quick installation of the new equipment is scheduled for Monday! Conor was very professional, courteous, and friendly, and had no high pressure sales pitch which we find to be a huge plus. We will continue to use Lakeside Service, and would definitely recommend them.

We have had Lakeside do our yearly checkup for many years now. They are always prompt, polite and very tidy. They take the time to show you everything that is going on with the system and always have time for questions. I would highly recommend them. Kyle even programmed the thermostat for me!

We have now had Lakeside out to our home 2 times and have been extremely satisfied with the service they provided. They careful he sought the least expensive route to repair extensive damage to our boiler that had been caused by a contractor. They were careful to keep the bottom line down as best they could and I was very happy with the work that they did.

They also all were very respectful and a pleasure to have in our home. The second visit was a maintenance of our boiler. The service man was not only local but he was also very pleasant to have in our home he was very kind to our 6 children (who were ALL home for a snow day) and comfortable around our pets. I am very picky about who I like to come into our home and I will be using them for all our home heating and cooling needs.

I used this company for some home warranty work they're one of the few companies that would take it on and for that I will be loyal also extremely professional service from the office staff and the repair man Leif! He worked painstakingly with the warranty company. I highly recommend!

I was very pleased with this company. They are very professional and prompt. I have recently had them out for an airconditioner problem which was thankfully a "small fix" and it is now up and running. But a few months ago in the dead of winter, Our furnace went out, and we had to have our furnace replaced. I can't say enough about how quickly they were able to replace it.

We have a finished basement where the furnace is located, and the men were very careful not to make a mess on my carpet, using tarps and covers on there boots, etc. Everything went so smooth and they were so organized, filing for rebates for me, making a place on the furnace cabinet for all the paperwork and warranty. I was very impressed and would definately recommend this company.

I have amended my previous one star review because I have been repeatedly assured by the owners of Lakeside that internal procedural changes have been put in place regarding the manner in which Lakeside dispatches plumbers in emergency plumbing situations. My previous reason for my one star review dealt with the unfortunate occurrence regarding me obtaining a plumber in a timely manner during a true plumbing emergency. Secondly, I recently had Lakeside come to my home in order to service duct work that was beginning to fall from a furnace that Lakeside had installed in 2006.

The repair to the duct work was handled in very professional manner and looks to have been done well. I have since re-engaged with Lakeside and have reinstated my monthly service contract for furnace maintenance and air conditioning maintenance. I am very hopeful that this time around, my relationship with Lakeside will prove to be a beneficial professional relationship for me and that my heating and cooling needs will be taken care of in a helpful, professional and competent manner. Also, I very much respect the manner in which Lakeside has tried to rectify the mistakes of the past with me as a customer, and I appreciate that they appear to care about their reputation and that when they make a mistake they "man up" and own it, and then try to fix the problem. That is more than many, if not most companies do today.

My furnace went out at 11pm on a Saturday with below zero temps.lakeside rushed to fix my blower.since my unit was quite old and the repair was major we decided a new unit was the best choice.sale guy came at midnight to give me my options.though it was a weekend they open the warehouse and got the unit I wanted installed and heating by noon on Sunday!

Very courteous and professional Across the board, they came the following week to finish the installation great service! And I have since compared prices and it was a VERY fair price for the emergency service. Thanks lakeside

We bought a house with an existing A/C system originally installed by Lakeside Service, which was 7 years old. The A/C system had a 5 year warranty, but essentially died at 7 years old. After having Lakeside out to see if they could fix it, it was determined it needed to be replaced. A Lakeside Service representative gave us an estimate of approximately $2500 more than the original entire install cost 7 years ago.

Now this seems crazy, especially considering they could re-use some of the existing supports and the labor should've been reduced, but what do I know. When asked if there was a discount for replacing THEIR installed system that died in 7 years, they offered to take off $300. So we are looking at ~$5200 to replace their failed system. I called another company, which promptly came out and offered to replace it with a better, more expensive system than Lakeside was going to use, and offered it at an installed price of $1200 less than Lakeside's "reduced" price and also has a 10 yr guarantee on the unit and lifetime on the install. I suggest getting a second look at any expensive work they offer.
