About seven years ago I bought my first house, and about six years ago I had my first AC issue. M&S was the first company I called who was ready to make getting my problems fixed a priority. Since then I've had them out to install a new HVAC system, excavate and repair a collapsed sewage line, and handle just about every plumbing or HVAC issue outside of a remodel. I can't recommend them enough.

Great service, timely, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. My kitchen faucet was dripping and leaking and they were able to easily get that fixed QUICKLY. Also had toilet that was constantly running and annoying me and they got that fixed just as quick! Highly recommend them for all plumbing, heating & air conditioning needs!

I appreciate their honest and reasonable approach to their services. Quotes are very reasonable, and they even charged less than quoted because it took less time. I trust them a lot, and would recommend them to anyone. 2021 update: They continue to do great work. They are fast, friendly, and provide great work at very reasonable prices. Susan and her front desk team and efficient, close the loop on communication, and are a joy to talk to. Even when it hot in our house and we need help, it is always please to talk to Susan. She takes such good care of us! I will continue to recommend M & S.

AC stopped blowing cold air. It was after hours. Called several after hour numbers. They answered promptly. Routed me to the on call tech. Tech came by after finishing the call he was on. Identified the problem. Replaced the part. Very efficient. Very professional. First time customer, but not the last time. Service: A/C system repair

Our AC unit decided to go out on the hottest weekend so far this year. We called M&S and they were able to come out same day to take a look on Friday and unfortunately we had to get a whole new unit. Fast forward to Tuesday of the next week and we have a new air conditioner installed! Ethan was great! Very professional, knowledgeable about our situation and friendly! This was our first experience with this company but we would definitely recommend them to anyone in the Manhattan area!

Had them come out to snake out a line. $341 for a 20 minute job! I have never paid that much for a snaked line. Our laundry room in our basement was flooded. I could understand if there was some sort of clean up involved. No, just a snaked line. Was not offered an itemized bill. When called and asked about an itemized bill, I was told that's what they charge and your welcome for unclogging your line.never use again!

Used M&S last summer for a plumbing and A/C issue and they were great and reasonably priced. Naturally, decided to call them again when our furnace went out last week. Was quoted $550 plus labor (so about $630 total) for a new circuitboard installation. For a part that costs $200 for our unit and takes about 10-15 minutes to install. Called Alternative Air and got a quote from them for $410 for this service.
I understand that a company needs to make a profit, but a $350 markup on a part seems ridiculous. Alternative Air got the EXACT same part because there was only one available in town for our unit. Called M&S back to see if they would price match and was told no. Paid Alternative Air $410 for the service AND still had to pay the $79 service call for the fifteen minutes M&S spent here and still came out over $100 less than their quote. Won't be calling them again.

M&S Plumbing has been such a pleasure to work with. My first experience was last summer when my air conditioner went out. It was late on a Friday night but Matt was quick to respond to my needs and even made it out that night. He had my AC unit up and running in no time! Recently I encountered plumbing issues, again M&S was quick to respond and had someone out in just a couple days. Matt again came over and diagnosed the issue quickly.
He then came out and was able to fix everything in just a day. I am so thankful for their quick response and ability to fix the issue quickly and efficiently. Matt was so professional and knowledgeable.
