Five years ago we called this company put to quote us on replacing our sewer line in the backyard. We thought they were a reputable company given that we used them on contract for our HVAC and didn't have any issues. Five years ago a salesperson whom no longer works there came to our home for a replacement quote, he said to give us a more accurate quote he would "prefer" to snake the line.
To which my husband said that we already had a video from another company and could provide him footage, he said if you don't mind I'll just do it myself it's part of my quote. He proceeded and then billed my husband over $300 when he would not sign a contract for the replacement right then and there. We called the office and spoke with their sales manager and office manager whom said that they were sorry for the misunderstanding and that we did not owe this amount. Now, present day we get a bill from a collector and a hit on our credit for delinquent payment of this bill that suddenly appeared in the last 3 months to this creditor.
I've now called the office on three separate occasions with the promise of a return call and most recently was told they added to their calendar a follow up call to me in 3 days to make sure the owner reached out, that was over a week ago now and crickets. It was also confirmed that none of the employees or managers we dealt with are there any longer and they have no record of any conversations but also thought it strange and were the ones to say wow, 5 years ago and your being billed from a credit company now?
Working in a service industry for years, one that was upfront with service charges and billing I am just so saddned by the way we see being treated. This negligent mishandling of our situation and the idea that 5 years later they would try and collect money from us is truly absurd.

Before they come onsite, I double checked with them is there any diagnose fee which typically 0-100, they said no. then they give me a quote about $1100 which is doubled than another quote i got. and they said, if i do not use their service, they will bill me $220 for onsite fee. I don't like the feeling that people don't tell you any hidden fee before they provide service. my location is Warrington, a round trip is about 1.5h. my point is #1, if any onsite fee or diagnostic fee or other name, let me know first and I will make a decision prior to service. #2. 200 is too much for just onsite.
I will not recommend this service. BTW The customer service is nice. looks like they online 24 hours, and no waiting time. Hope they can do some improvement to make their review score above average.

I called the company to get a hot water heater replaced, they sent over to young man, it was no problem when they got here they looked down the basement and saw what was there to be replaced, and then all of a sudden the young man that was in charge turned around and gave me a very hard time about having to bring in the hot water heater. I've had the hot water heater replaced before, never has there been a problem with Area and space to be able to get the hot water heater into the basement.
My house is fairly new and all of the doors are plenty big enough and the hallways and steps are wide. He told me he was going to put down some pads on the ground to make sure there will be no damage taking the old Hot water heater out. I had no problem with them going ahead with the job and then he went out and talk to his Manager came back in the house and told me that they are not going to do the job.
And I kept asking him why, he didn't really have a good explanation, but just turned around to me saying that they're afraid of bringing in the hot water heater and doing some damage to the walls, I am a mechanical engineer, but I'm not 100% family disabled veteran, there is absolutely no problem for them to bring in the new hot water heater and go down my basement steps and install it.
All they have to do is be careful, just like they would be in anybody's house. Then he turned around said we're not doing it and walked out the door, I got a little upset and raise my voice to ask him why because there's plenty of room. He gave me no answer, then I found out later that he told his boss that I threatened to sue him. That never happened.
This is the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me, for someone coming to your house to do work. I do not know what this Workmans problem really was. So I'd have to let everybody know that this is how they treat their customers. I asked to talk to the manager, I got no reply, no phone calls. I called back and asked to talk to whoever is above the manager, all I got was them hanging up the phone on me.

I don't know what's happened but the follow up from Seifert is very bad. They broke something and they are not owning up to it. I have them on camera. I am withdrawing my previous five stars. They're lucky they're getting one statfrom me. He made a huge mess. They had to be told to finish fixing something. I just don't get it. Very disappointed

Have utilized the services of this fine establishment and community leader for a few decades, always prompt & professional, highly recommend. Their diverse and experienced staff has always had the industry insight to diagnosis and deliver an above average product outcome. Price may be a problem for some, but quality comes at a cheaper cost than the stresses and duress of an improper install!

As with some of the other reviews, these guys should be avoided. They came out to my office to check my back flow valve which took about 3 minutes. Then I get a bill for $265. For several years I used another company and they only charge me $90. When I called them, they tried to tell me that's the going rate. I guess that another way of saying "We gouge our customers". My advice is ask for a cost up front. Then go somewhere else.

I initially submitted a request for a quote on an installation of a Pressure reducing value and also the relocation of a hose bib. The quote did not separate the costs for each which is my only complaint about the company. I asked them to resubmit a bid for just the PRV which they completed and we decided to move forward. When the tech arrived at our house, he determined that the quote did not include more extensive work which would need to be completed for installation. However, the company honored their quote and completed the work. They did a fantastic job and we will be using them in future for all our plumbing and HVAC needs.

My mothers home had a defective and leaking septic tank that could not be repaired. I used K.E Seifert to install a new sewer line that hooked up to the the townships sewer system. Victor was great to work with, he was out the next day to meet with me. He was polite, professional and very helpful. The job was completed in a short amount of time and at a price we could afford. I used KE Seifert for a renovation. The master plumber was competent and respectful. The problem w/ this company is they did not do itemized billing. After receiving the first large bill, I asked to itemize. I was sent a very vague and incomplete statement. We went on to use them ( again, plumber was very good). But I got doubled billed and again very vague billing.
I firmly believe ( after dealing with other plumbing companies) that we were overbilled. I am not sure if the administration staff is incompetent or shady. I would be careful when dealing with them. Get estimates for each job. Keep track of time and workers.

We were extremely pleased with every aspect of the sewer line replacement job performed by K. E. Seifert. The price was reasonable (nearly half what we were quoted by another local plumbing company), the installation team was exceptionally professional, the work was completed expeditiously, and the company owner even came by the house after the job was finished to make certain we were completely satisfied.
Although I was initially under the impression that Seifert was a big utility company, too large to do residential work, I was pleased to see firsthand that they service homeowners with the same level of expertise and workmanship as they do their larger government and general contractor customers. I highly recommend them.

I've had such an issue with contractors, in general, but most recently had difficulty getting a plumber to call me back. When I asked, a realtor we had been working with recommended KE Seifert. Was in a pinch and they were SO accommodating and working with my dead line. Called them back for another small job and just as pleased. Now I am working with them on a new project in a home we recently went under contract with. Everyone I've dealt with there has been professional, pleasant and does their job well. Pricing is comparable. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

I would never call Seifert plumbing back again. I only needed my faucet removed in tub and have the clamps put on so water wouldn't go all over house, and it took the guy from 10 in morning til 4 in afternoon to do this and charged us an outrageous amount. My husband called office, they won't adjust the bill, so, we paid for plumber to stand outside to have cigarette breaks!
The company is a rip off, charge amounts that should not be charged and when leaving a message on my phone, was RUDE! I will never use them again! I have another plumber coming out. Oh, and used my brand new towel to put in bath tub and that's after he got tub dirty, thanks! If he needs knee pads, company should supply them or go out and buy some, don't use customers new towels! I really don't know how they stay in business!

We have had enough problems with this company in the past week that I really could not recommend them to anyone. They came out to fix a problem that they previously identified as being an issue in our well. By the end of the service, it was pretty apparent that the issue was actually just a filter inside, which we thought they had already checked.
So we basically paid nearly $3,000 to find out that a filter needed to be replaced. And to top it all off, they didn't put the lid back on our well correctly and I am now fighting with them to get them to make it right.
