I paid for the Apex service which is supposed to give you first access to appointments. After I bought this service they made me a appointment for my first A/C maintenance check. The tech was to be here between 6-8pm. At 8:30pm I called to inform Air Pro that no has showed up yet and they said to just keep waiting and someone would be here. At 11pm I called back because no one still showed up.

They said someone would call me back but I never got that call and no one ever showed up that day. I called back the next morning and Air Pro gave me another 2 hour window for the next day. No one ever showed up for that appointment so I called back. Finally someone came out and did the maintenance check and said I needed all new duct work. They said that my A/C would work perfect after the new duct work since my A/C was only a couple years old.

I paid for the duct work which was over $2400. They said it was a big job and would take half the day. They techs came out and were done in 2 hours which surprised me since I was told it would take half a day. Before the techs began my A/C was at 78 degrees. After the techs were done the A/C got down to a whopping 77 degrees. The techs said give it a couple hours and it would reach my desired temp of 72 degrees.

I waited all day it stayed at 77. I called back and they scheduled me another appointment and again no one ever showed up. I called again and made another appointment which no one showed up. I called again and they said that my A/C would not work properly unless I paid another $ 2500 to have the box insulated. If that needed done why didn't they tell me that in the beginning so that I knew what the total repair would be?

The maintenance check was originally done to diagnose any repairs that the A/C needed. Why wasn't I inform of needing the box insulated from the start? I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are a major rip off.

Great company to work with from start to finish. Ryan helped me find the best new AC/Furnace package for our house. Air pro didn't waste my time and got me a great quote same day via email. Install team was very courteous and installed a thermostat I had purchased separately - which they didn't have to do. Cleaned up after themselves and walked me through any questions I had. I would/have been recommending this company to anyone looking for fair pricing, fast install, and reliable brands.

Beware of bait and switch. I purchased a more expensive unit for the 20-year warranty. The sales person failed to inform me that I would need to pay for maintenance twice a year to maintain that warranty. I was offered a service plan AFTER installation. The price to maintain the warranty is $2900. I would not have purchased the unit I selected if this information was provided up front.

1st trip they were on time, checked the issue and told us it was a expensive repair.the trip out here was going to cost us 30$ which is good.problem is they took 119$.fighting with cc co. as we speak to stop payment or reverse charges

Airpro installed our equipment in 2014. It developed a problem on the coldest day this winter and we lost heat. They responded quickly and despite having to make three attempts on a complex problem they were responsive, efficient, professional and completed all work under warranty. We have used AirPro Heating and Cooling twice. From our previous experience with Ryan and his staff, we knew that it was pointless to even consider another option. Ryan is exceptionally informative, incredibly fair and honest, and will not lead you to make an unnecessary upgrade or purchase. He provides options and does not hassle. Both times (in 2 different households) we have upgraded our outdated systems to high efficiency.

Air Pro Heating & Cooling Technicians were punctual, respectful, hard working, and replaced both heating and ac systems (both times) in just 1 afternoon. They showed up, reiterated the plan, did the work, politely knocked if they had a question and always confirming before coming upstairs, and cleaned up after themselves. My husband and I couldn't be happier!

I had Air Pro install a new furnace earlier this month. The installers were Kris, Jerry, and Jake. They arrived promptly, installed quickly (2 hours including chimney liner), and were respectful and professional. All the positive reviews are well deserved. Their high rating on Google is one of the main reasons I chose this company. Not to mention they were over $1,000 less than their competitors. Impressed from beginning to end. Howdy was the salesperson and was laid back with no pressure to choose his quote. Highly recommend. Will be contacting them in the future once A/C will need to be replaced. A+

Ryan and his crew were very responsive and professional. I had them replace my broken AC and the furnace system. Their price is very reasonable. Most importantly, they didn't try to oversell to me, which won my business. Ryan was very easy to talk to and responded to questions quickly even during off-business hours. The installation crew arrived on time and were friendly and professional. They did a great job and the workmanship was good. This is our second time we have gone with Air Pro and we are glad we did. We had a new Furnace/AC installed. We had our AC unit moved from back to side of our house and the guys did an amazing job with the placement of the new unit and dressing it up. I could not have made it look as nice as those guys did. The crew was polite and very knowledgeable.

We have always been impressed with the Air Pro crew with all the dealings with them. Ryan helped steer us in the right direction. Initially we wanted an AC unit that unbeknownst to us, was geared more for southern living. What we thought we wanted was way more than we needed. I trust what Ryan suggests. He never pushes or tries to oversell. Everyone we have dealt with is such a positive reflection on the company. You cannot go wrong reaching out to Air Pro and I highly recommend.

My father is a disabled veteran and in hospice. This company was supposed to show up 4 times in 2 weeks and each time never showed. That was 4 DAYS that my mother was unable to be with my father because they couldn't be bothered to show or even call saying they were not coming. I even called owner that time and was assured that they would be there that afternoon.

No call and no show! Now they are not responding at all. It's been crazy hot here and my mother is a senior also! All that was needed was a simple hose patch and Freon fill. Shame on this company! Stay far away! Don't waste your time! Unreliable! Unprofessional! No way their other reviews are legitimate! Beware!

I got quotes from four local Pittsburgh Heating and Cooling Installers and Air-Pro was the company we ultimately chose and it worked out very well. Ryan came out to visit us on very short notice, we had no air conditioning running at the time during this very warm summer. He was very informative and did not try to push any products onto us and listened to what we needed, he also answered all of my questions in a very prompt, professional and easy to understand manner.

We had an a/c unit installed (Trane), humidifier, furnace (Trane) and some duct work repaired. Ryan was able to get the on-site crew to do the job within 7 days, which was a huge relief given the weather. The crew was made up of Clint, Josh and Steve. They were on-time, very thorough, answered all my questions and showed me how the equipment worked once the job was complete. The clean up was very good, it was honestly as if they were never there. If you are looking for a new system, I would recommend calling Ryan Henny for a quote.

Technician that came out was nice, however, quote was poorly manufactured and communication between home warranty company and this HVAC company was pathetic if not criminal. Request is for poor airflow due to several causes, leaking / disconnected ductowork. I immediately see that my case was closed with no work done at all. I called the company to get a quote on what repairs would cost me if I went outside of the home owner's insurance company."its expensive, we can sell you mini-splits but you're out of luck".I asked how much, and was unable to get any sort of detailed quote which is beyond unprofessional.

After calling my home owner's insurance company, they said that they did not "receive any detailed information from the company". Needless to say, I requested a second opinion. This company is an absolute joke and I can't believe its an actual business.

Ryan and the AirPro staff recently installed a new Trane high efficiency furnace and AC at my parent's home. The treated my retired parents with respect and provided exceptional service and value. I 100% trust AirPro with our HVAC and frankly with keeping us safe. We are still receiving superior service from AirPro. Last year they replaced our over 25-year-old furnace. A couple of weeks ago when I scheduled for routine winter maintenance, technician EVAN found that there was a small amount of CO2 leaking back into our system. He wrote it up and said that the office would call to detail the work and to schedule.

They phoned that same afternoon and said it would take 2 technicians three hours to fix. We scheduled the work. I didn't ask the cost in fear of the high number. But I assumed for 3 hours it'd be at least $300. Today EVAN (just the best) and another tech came to our house & completed all of the work quickly & cleanly. Best part. no charge because our furnace is still under warranty!

They offered this info. I wasn't aware. AirPro techs are highly professional, staff is courteous, and most of all I trust them with not only our home comfort but to keep us safe.

Just wanted to say thank you to the entire Airpro staff they are all wonderful. They have installed my furnace also my ac unit, they are the most professional and detailed company. Recently I have had a few problems with my AC they have responded to all my calls very quickly, have come out immediately to address the problems. When I call in they are so helpful Cody was out today was very knowledgeable fixed my problems answered all my questions just all around wonderful. This is a wonderful company to do business with. I would definitely recommend Airpro for all your furnace and AC needs.

Is there a zero star category? If your warranty company assigns this guy, call them immediately and ask for someone else. You are in for a trap otherwise. He will put all the blame on your warranty company and at the same time try and sell you his services behind the back. He will also tell you how lucky you are that he is giving a great deal, and you are better off going with what he is offering. Super-inflated quote for repair will be submitted to your warranty company, most of which is not covered (per the contract), and any reasonable person will question repair vs replacement and that's where the fights will begin.

And did I say that their turnaround time is horrendous too? So do yourself a favor, call another HVAC company. There are many reputable, professional and courteous folks in the area.

We called to have the technician come out and find out what's wrong with our air conditioner because it kept leaking freon and we kept having to recharge it every couple of months he replace the part that cost us $200 and then added 400 and change worth of freon claiming it was six tons when the unit only handles at most 5 tons $675 later as I'm paying he tells me the problem has not been fixed it will probably leak again could you imagine and I'm still waiting for the owner to call me

These guys are the BEST! My furnace broke and the tech Evan came to check it and I needed a new motor and some kind of a board. He was going to come back with some heaters for me because they had to order the parts and instead he opted to drive to the South Side in this terrible weather and see if they had the parts which they did and he came back at 6:30 at night and fixed my furnace!

I highly highly recommend Air Pro for all your heating and cooling issues. I will definitely use them for all of mine. All you guys at Air Pro office aleut Lee the best! I am especially appreciative of Evan for going the extra mile!

Air pro was advertising 50/50 off a new furnace & a/c system.l purchase an new furnace and a/c from air pro in 2017. Wanting to buy another furnace and a/c for my mother house this year. Air pro 50/50 does reflect a true discount.

Yet another company where the truck drivers think it's perfectly fine to cut out other drivers on the the highway. My operating principle is that if your employees are back ends of horses on the highway, they will be back ends of horses in my house. Added to my permanent list of companies to NEVER hire and to make sure others know. Based on other reviews, my initial impression is valid.

This company is horrible. I have a HSA warranty. My furnace AC motor went bad. The technician that came out to fix it put the wrong motor in. He said he had to order a new motor. It's been over a week now and still nothing. I could have had the motor overnighted myself and had it the next day. I talked to the foreman of the company and he said that there is nothing he could do and that it wasn't his problem. Very ignorant. I ended up having the system replace by another company within a few days of calling them.

Ok this is a complicated issue so I will give 2 stars since I have had to deal with HVAC companies in the past and I have had better experiences. I'll break it down into the good and bad. The good - The owner was very nice on the phone and I didnt have any problems with that like others have. He seemed to want to help me and had a guy out here pretty quick.

It was the beginning of summer so I do understand that it is a busy time. The tech was also on time and was very good about calling when they were on the way and they did the paperwork quickly for the warranty. The bad - I still dont have AC. The first time they came out they replaced the thermostat and the AC worked for about an hour before it died again.

It fried the transformer which we just had replaced a week or two before. Second time they came out they just replaced the transformer and it worked for about a day.maybe less since it was not working when we woke up. The tech said the problem would be dirty power if the transformer blew again and an electrician would need to come out. We called an electrician and they came out and laughed at that diagnosis.

They checked the power which was fine and replaced the breaker which seemed fine but I guess you never know. The air handler is on it's own circuit so there shouldnt be a problem. The electrician laughed when I told him what Air Pro said and said "Sounds like an Air Pro excuse" even before I told him what company we used. So now I'm still without AC and have an air handler with a blown transformer as I wait for another company to come out. Some of it is probably due to the fact that we are using a warranty company.but still. I wouldnt recommend them at this point.

If I could give this business negative stars believe me I would. First off I was astounded as how unprofessional and how disrespectful the "receptionist" was, when asked to speak to the manager I get laughed at and hung up on. Back in December our fairly new furnace was acting up, it would turn on and off often so the house was not getting warm. After the first time someone came to our house they left within 10 minutes assuring the issue was fixed. WRONG with the freezing temps it took this place nearly two weeks to call us back regarding the issue that they NEVER fixed.

We had to resort to buying several space heaters to stay warm for the time being. Well the second time they come to "fix" the issue they note a part is defective and they have to order it and then come to replace it. Well after this second time water has since been leaking on our basement floor. The third time they come to replace the part with the new one and luckily after going weeks without heat they fixed the heat problem, and we think they fixed the water leaking on the floor.

The FOURTH time they come to fix the leaking again. IT STILL IS NOT FIXED. I call the fifth time now our air conditioner is now not working and water AGAIN IS ALL OVER THE FLOOR. One of our technicians said it's because we are going through our home warranty so "it does not guarantee they will fix the problem." How does that make ANY sense? DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE! At this point you can't do anything but laugh that this is how someone runs their business. You have to find the humor in everything.

TITLE: Pro Air Pittsburgh, PA can you say Extortion. Taking advantage of an elderly woman turned off her heat and she paid her bill! Extortion is the only word that comes to mind when dealing with this company. We had an issue with furnace at our family home. After speaking with technician from Pro Air we learned we had a cracked part. Insurance company hired this company and Elderly homeowner does not have a choice in which company they can use. Homeowner was told by insurance company that furnace was under warranty and only owes $100 to technician for part. Technician came out said it will cost an extra $1500.

We called the insurance company and they reconfirmed since the part was under warranty homeowner's only financial obligation was $100. Which was paid to the technician before leaving and homeowner was told that the part would be in by Monday and this whole process started on Friday. Heat has been off in the house for 4 days now and Elderly homeowner is looking at another 4 days without heat. Monday we received a call from technician asking "do you have my $1500 check for me?" We then let him know that the insurance company told us it would only cost $100 and that was paid to him on Friday and we have satisfied our financial obligation.

He then let us know it would take 4 more days to complete the work. However if you must deal with a heating and cooling company do not use Pro Air or Air Pro of Pittsburgh, PA, whichever name Rocco Florio, owner's company is going under. Also receipt was not submitted on company letterhead just a simple receipt. This company is going under different names: Air Pro and Pro Air see this link on ripoff.com and BBB of Western Pennsylvania.

I wish I could go back ten years because I would not have chosen this company. I was left for 6 days with no a/c because they don't have enough technicians and I was left for 5 days with no heat in the winter. I am still under warranty with them so I have to use them. It took 10 phone calls to get a call back both times. Please hire more technicians.

I am not sure if Ronco owned this company ten years ago when I bought my air conditioning and heat, but he is doing a horrible job. Next time I get no service I am reporting to the BBB

Terrible. Very unreliable company from my experience. They were supposed to call within 2 hrs of accepting my home warranty claim for my furnace blower motor that went bad, and never showed up to do the work or even called us to let us know when they might decide to show up. by accepting the ticket from home warranty co means that another company cant come and fix for 24 hrs.

They left me high and dry without a furnace for the past 24hrs in weather that is less than 20 degrees. Why would you accept the ticket to respond to the call and never respond? I will never consider using this company and will let everyone I know about my story. Thanks for nothing Air Pro. My freezing cold 8 yr old daughter thanks you too.
