When we needed a new HVAC system we knew that it would be an expensive purchase. We went straight to Buckner's because of their commitment to service and their prompt responses to any issues. Steve B. gave us a fair estimate and answered all our questions. Couldn't have been more pleased with the options that Steve suggested and explained to us.or so we thought.then we met Max and Ian (our installers) and from the time they arrived (ON TIME) to the time they left, they were both the epitome of what old quality service and work ethic is all about. Professional, considerate of our home and property, always ready to answer our questions and then when they were finished were still patient and attentive when explaining the remote thermostat system. My husband and I started having issues with our furnace about a week ago. It was blowing air, but it just wasn't heating the home. Our Nest/Google system recommended a "reputable company" to come and check everything out. We have, what I would consider, a middle-aged furnace (about 7 years old) and have not had any issues with it until now. After looking at our system for about 10 minutes he quoted me nearly $2,000 for replacement parts and labor.
This seems like way too much to spend before getting another opinion. I called Buckner the same day and they were able to come in the afternoon, about 2.5 hours later. Super friendly and gave me a 15-minute heads up before they arrived. Within 20 minutes they came up and said it was good to go. There was carbon buildup on the flame sensor. that was it.
About $114 total including the diagnostic charge. Before they even left, I felt a difference and could feel warm air coming into the house. They also took the time to educate me on how it worked and why this happens so that we could watch for a similar issue in the future. Before shelling out your home's savings fund, get a second opinion. Or just call Buckner first. Would absolutely recommend this company!

My wife and I, after interviewing a number of companies for the purpose of installing a new furnace and A/C unit, decided to go with Buckner's Heating and Cooling and are we so happy that we did. The installation took about a day and a half, all done is cold, snowy weather. Troy, Ian and Max were our installers and they did a fantastic job. They were happy to answer every question we threw at them, were polite, clean and professional. I certainly would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

I recently had a problem with my furnace, and being a long term client on a contract I called Buckner's. At the time it was 9 degrees outside. They were able to send a service tech Scott out within an hour and he was able to diagnose and temporarily fix the problems to provide heat until a new unit could be ordered and installed. Yesterday, they removed the old system and replaced it with a new furnace and Air Conditioner.
The service men Shawn, Gary, and Austin were very efficient, polite, courteous and knowledgeable about the products. They made sure that both my wife and myself were comfortable in operating the equipment. While here they found a problem with my humidifier and took care of that as well. I couldn't be happier with the service I received While a new system is not inexpensive I felt that I received a good price from Buckner's. Used Buckners for 16 years in our old house. Used their maintenance program and at one point purchased an entirely new system - always above and beyond service. Then moved to new home with new heating and cooling so got a bit lax with the maintenance but decided after four years it was time. When I called Mike remembered me; the tech Scott was efficient, neat and respectful of our home. It was just like we never left! So glad our heating and cooling is back under their care

We had used Buckner before and didn't hesitate to call them again. From the initial phone call to the end of the job we had a no problems whatsoever. The two guys who installed the furnace/AC unit arrived early in the day and got to work. They knew exactly what they were doing, and moved quickly through the day, completing the entire project by mid afternoon.
Their workmanship was high quality, they were professional and polite, and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend you call Buckner Heating & Cooling. We would definitely use them again. A+

This is an outstanding business that obviously focuses on customer service and customer care. They came out and diagnosed my A/C as needing replacing. They quickly contacted me and gave estimates for replacement, they also got me scheduled to install the new unit 3 days later. I decided that my hot water heater was due for replacement as it was showing signs that it was starting go bad.
It seemed like every employee showed up on the scheduled day to install my A/C, heater and hot water heater! They were courteous, professional and helpful. When they were through with both installs they cleaned everything up completely! The employees also took the time to show me how to use the new thermostat, and how and when to change the furnace filter!
I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone in need of A/C furnace repair and or replacement. Also I would recommend Buckner's for hot water replacement! I couldn't be any happier! Steve made a special trip to install our new heating and air units on a holiday weekend. He made the process from beginning to end straight forward and easy. Troy, Tony, Shaun C., Shaun S. and Jacob B.did an amazing job. Completed the job in a very timely manner, showed up at the time quoted. Everything looks quality. They did a great job cleaning their work area. Explained the new thermostats and made sure we were completely satisfied.

We woke up to an extremely cold house. Our furnace was toast and due to its age we knew we wanted to replace rather than repair. Having an 18 month old who won't keep covers on, waiting until my husband got back from his business trip wasn't an option. The first company I called couldn't help us until next week but referred us to Buckner Heating and Air.
Boy am I glad they did! I called and was put in touch with Steve who said he could come out and take a look right then! He gave me pricing over the phone which allowed me to discuss with my husband which option we wanted. Came in and did a great job and I had heat by 11am. Fantastic service. Thank you!

We called Buckner's to inspect and clean our furnace and were very pleased with the service we received from Zach. We were texted before his arrival and he showed up earlier than our scheduled time, which we appreciated. He did a great, thorough job, and took time to explain what he saw and his recommendations for future upkeep/projects. We appreciated the work very much and will be keen on hiring Buckner's again in the future.

They installed an A/C system 2 years ago and have had problems off and on since then. I'm so happy that the air decided to go out during a heat wave, it was a nice 90 degrees in my house. We had a family friend patch it until this week it went out again. Buckner came out to look at and it was a disaster. They messed with the A/C and the tech came to let us know he may have broken something but hopefully not.
He then told us the blower needed to thaw, no big deal. When he was questioned about his work he threw a tantrum. He threw my husbands phone and said he was leaving and not coming back. The service manger then called to rudely tell us we needed to find someone else to fix it because they weren't coming back out. They also told us our 10 year warrant from the manufacture was voided.
What are you expected to do when your house is 90 degrees and the people that are suppose to fix it refuse. You call someone else to fix it. Some time later the owner shows up while someone else is here fixing it and he gets mad that we didn't wait around in the heat for someone to maybe show up and fix our A/C (despite the fact many people already told us they weren't going to come back).
He argues with me and the new A/C man for a while then threw up his hands, said a sad excuse for a sorry, and left. Some of the poorest customer service I've ever experienced.

They provided me with options and left me to make the decision. They are true professionals and another thing - I've noticed that the same people come out year after year to check on my furnace and AC (maintenance agreement). Our ac was not cool. I contacted a large company and they said it would be about 4 weeks. I found Buckner's which is closer to where I live, and they came the next week. There was a crack in the exterior coil. It was leaking coolant. Tony was extremely respectful of our home and our space. They determined the part was under a warranty but needed to be shipped, plus labor and coolant.
We also needed an electrical shut off installed outside. It took a few days but the part came in. Tony installed it. He did have some issues with the part but he worked through it and got it installed. The house is very cool now. The help was appreciated. It took a few days and communication could have been a touch better, but it worked out well. I would recommend their services.

Our furnace had been making a loud humming noise every time it started up. Gary and another gentleman came out the next day and figured out the motor was going bad. We are so grateful they came out quickly, got the job done and were very professional and friendly. Thank you! I would absolutely use them again!

My air conditioner stopped working overnight. I quickly turned to Yelp to find a HVAC company to come take a look at it. After reading reviews I decided to give Buckner's a call. They open at 7am, I called them at 7:10 and they had somebody at my house by 8am. Talk about quick service! I needed a part ordered and they were back as quick as they could to get it fixed once the part came in. I believe their prices were very reasonable and very nice people to deal with. I would use them again and highly recommend!

We contacted Buckner's H&C to replace our A/C, and they've done some maintenance for us before. They were competitive with other quotes and were very flexible with scheduling. Day-of they were communicative of their arrival time. The three guys on the call were very professional, knowledgeable, and worked through several unexpected challenges with the install. They stayed as late as needed to complete the job well. Buckner's is our go-to and we will certainly use them again.

Very disappointed in Buckner' s Heat in & Cooling. Purchased & installed Trane unit 2011. Only Buckner's has serviced unit. My cooling went out 3 weeks ago of course 94 degree weather on a weekend. Buckner's came out changed filter & replaced part. Scott was service tech. Charged $389. Worked for 3 weeks then went out again. This time they told me to turn unit off but keep fan running 4 hrs then try again. Worked for 2 days, so I ended up calling called them again.

Was desperate to have HVAC serviced when it began making noise in early summer. And of course, it totally failed before appointment was fulfilled. However when Gary arrived he quickly diagnosed the issues, verified the parts were available locally, collected them and had the system operational by the afternoon. We priced out three different companies to replace our a/c unit. This was the third, and I was sold on not using them, but the owner I spoke with was so kind and knowledgeable (even after I told him I was only getting a price quote and had plans to use another company), I changed my plans. They were so great to work with, super knowledgeable, and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

The evening of 6/29, our air conditioner went out. Naturally, it was one of the hottest days of the year so far. The next morning my wife called Buckner's after reading the reviews on Angie's list. They said they could come out the next day, which was great news to us. She explained to them that she was thankful that they could come out so quickly since I just got home from the hospital after suffering a heart attack.
The woman at Buckner's then said she would give us a call if they could work us in sooner. Within the hour, we were called by Buckner's and they said a technician was on the way. Unfortunately, my wife was taking me to a doctors appointment when I got the call. I thanked her for her efforts and she told me to call when I got home. I returned home and gave her a call.
Shortly after, I received a call from Dave saying he was on the way. Dave was great and got our air conditioner working. As it turns out, it was the exact same part we had replaced 2 years ago by another company. Buckner charged me $94 for the part. The other company charged $255. In addition, the service call was $24 less with Buckner. I signed up for annual maintenance on the spot. I love finding companies with such wonderful customer service!

Exceptional service. As most of us in the general public don't know any more than how to change the thermostat on our air conditioning systems, HVAC service technicians can be judged in the same way we judge our auto mechanics -- some are there to rip you off and some are genuinely there to serve you. Buckner's is in the latter group. The BF had called out a number of other HVAC people for previous jobs within the last few years, but didn't like the run-around from those guys.
He tried Buckner's about a year ago and he's stuck with them ever since. We had our suspicions that our A/C unit was not running as efficiently as it could and probably needed more coolant, so we called Buckner's and scheduled an appointment. Our techcian, Caleb, showed up exactly when scheduled @ 12:30pm, wore booties upon entering the house, and went right to work.
I should note, that it's the BF's house, so this is more in his department than mine, but he couldn't be home, so I was the one to be there at the house. I was curious as to what he was checking and asked him to explain what certain terms were and what he was doing. Caleb was incredibly thorough and walked me through everything he was doing.
And he didn't look down on me as he showed me the filthy air filter that I failed to replace in the last 2 months. Oops :). He explained what noises to expect and the noise we heard from the pipe was an indication that there was not enough coolant running through the system. Our AHU (outside) was also filthy with grass clippings and other outdoor debris.
We didn't do our part in keeping that clean either. (I never said it wasn't our fault that the A/C wasn't running efficiently). The diagnostic service was $59.99 and he offered to clean the unit for an additional $40. As the BF is quite frugal and prefers to do things on his own (he changes his own oil, for example), I declined the service and explained that the BF can just do it while he's in town.
I left him to do his thing, he didn't need me looking over his shoulder constantly. After about 45 minutes of running diagnostics, refilling the coolant, etc, Caleb shows me the invoice to sign and mentioned that he went ahead and cleaned the outdoor AHU free of charge, explaining that since the BF is only in town for the weekend, he probably has better plans for his short time here than to spend half an hour of his time cleaning an air conditioning unit. That was such a thoughtful gesture and mind you, this was on Friday [08.06.2010], so you know it was a hot and muggy one out there.
