Spoke with Carmine, the owner, directly to check a system for a friend of mine who is an elderly widow because another company said it needed to be replaced at an extremely high cost. I was a little skeptical of the other company because they didn't really give a good reason for a replacement. Carmine went out of his way to get to her house the next business day and made a minor repair which was all the unit needed saving this woman several thousand dollars. There is absolutely no other company I would ever deal with or recommend. A+++

Courteous, professional and skilled from the first call to their office for scheduling right up to when our A/C system was fixed and blowing cold air. Our tech Matt was great. He worked quickly and diligently to diagnose the problem and then fix it. Impressive safety protocols and knowledge. It's no wonder they are highly recommended and their reputation is high.

This company deserves more than 5 stars for price, professionalism, communication, and workforce. I had the pleasure to meet the owner from day one in which he explained in details what needs to be done for my house. Their office staff then followed up with impeccable responses with billing and scheduling. Finally the workforce arrived on time (huge plus) and all installation was above and beyond my expectations. We just had a custom central air and a ductless system installed. John and Brian did an outstanding job for us! They and all of the crew were extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The job was started and completed on schedule. The whole process from beginning to end was seemless. Highly recommend Gallett Air to anyone looking for HVAC services. Thank you Carmine, Mike, John and team for our new central AC unit and update. We replaced a 20+ year old rotted and rusted AC unit and had some attic upgrades installed as well. We moved 10 minutes away last year and bought a house in a great area but needs upgrades as the prior owners were in their 70's. We were lucky to get a year + out of the old central air unit. Rusted, coils rotted a disaster and inefficient.

These guys were great from start, . John was very helpful and made some suggestions along with install. Our house now has state of the art, brand new unit and we need sweatshirts. The old unit broke apart in the driveway. Don't fool around--- pricing is reasonable. I am sure if you dig you could get a better price, but its the service and future service that is important. thanks again team--- we will be nice and cool this summer.

These guys are great. We called in a service call today Monday memorial Day 2022. We got a call back right away and within less than 2 hours the technician named Brian who was great came to our house on Lawrence Lane in Bay Shore and quickly resolve the issue. We've been dealing with this company for roughly 30 years always had a service contract with them because they have been nothing but great to us. Thanks guys hopefully we won't need to use you again anytime soon.

My Mom had full central air conditioning installed throughout her home this past week and "wow" what a job. It was a long day to say the least, but I have to say-the team that came to the house to do the work, led by Brian and John were all fantastic. Even when we hit some unforeseen and stressful moments early on of realizing we had to clean out part of the attic and some closets, the guys jumped right in to help and made it as calm as possible.

Thanks Ozzy, John and Brian for the help there! The team got the job done and the house feels incredible. The next day we realized one of the rooms wasn't as cool as the others so we placed a call back and both Brian and John came back with their crew and made it right. Brian definitely jumped in to help correct and reposition one of the coils in the hallway closet as well as find a solution to the one room and now it's great.

All in all it was a huge job, but the guys were efficient and answered all of our questions. We are really glad we got this done and are living much comfortably now. Would definitely recommend this company as they seem to do right by their customers and get it done with an all hands on deck approach. Looking forward to a cool and comfortable summer!

Great experience all around. From start to finish. Guided me through my options and what would work best for my house. They installed 3 ductless a/c units. Guys were very nice, they covered all floors and cleaned up very well when they were done. Took the time to go over everything with me and answer all my questions. Very clean and neat installation.

It is amazing the professional results you get when you call a first class company like Galletair. They have been in business for many years, the owner is either on premises or out on a job with his workers, he always can be reached. Office staff is professional and friendly. Workers are well trained and knowledgeable, very professional company.

Call person, Mary, was courteous, listened to my issue and scheduled an appointment that was convenient for us. The tech, Mike, arrived early in the appointment window we were given. He too was courteous and very professional. He solved the problem quickly and had our heating system working as it is supposed to (a system installed only two years ago by another company). We're grateful for Gallett Air and they will have all our heating and AC business going forward!

So I never leave reviews but I promised the workers from Galetta air I would. They were awesome! They came 1 hour early in the beginning of January. They changed my nest back to my regular thermostat in 10 minutes and didn't even charge me. It's so nice that you can trust a company and even nicer to see their kindness and empathy. Thanks guys. You know who you are!

Best hvac around. Will not use anyone else ever. With the wind today my hot air furnace wouldn't work. In this weather they had a technician come & fix it. I'm definitely buying a contract with them. I've never seen customer service like this from any company. Thank you Gallett

Had the Team at GallettAir install a heat pump system this week. GallettAir was very professional and knowledgeable from my first phone call to the office to when they finished. They recommended a new heat pump and programmable thermostat to get maximum efficiency from the system. Brian and his crew covered all my flooring and work areas before work started. My house was cleaner than before they started. Thank you to the GallettAir Team for keeping us warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

I called yesterday and was given an appointment for today. Mike and Brian came ON TIME and investigated until they found the problem. They did not look for"a quick fix". I'm equally relieved and impressed. I'd recommend Gallettair to anyone.

My central air was installed by Gallett a number of years ago and I recently had the need to have a service call. Their technician Matt was awesome! He was super polite, responsive, explained all and got the problem fixed in a professional and timely manner. Matt gets 5 stars from us. Thank you Gallett and especially Matt!

Amazing job and excellent client service. They came the next day as requested to repair central AC not working well during a heat wave. The technician Mathew & Paul, arrived on time, was very professional and knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it without having to return. I extremely recommend GalletAir

The air conditioner in our house was very old, so other companies went to fix it a few times, but it was difficult to fix it. I met this company and solve problems every year now. Consideration of finding a way to solve the problem at a low cost first before spending a large cost. A service that prepares you for your next plan in advance. It certainly feels like a company with a history has a lot of experience.

The most satisfying thing is that after figuring out what the problem is, they fix it quickly. Especially in a house with children, a plan is very important, and I was grateful that the plan didn't go wrong.

We had purchased a home in the fall of 2020 and had some issues with the central air prior to move-in. With a lack of knowledge and experience on my part, and based on a prior history of great service that a family member received, I gave GallettAir a call and had an appointment set up quickly. Upon a quick investigation, we learned that our HVAC system was good to go and that our too-thick filter was to blame.

That quick, professional, and friendly consultation with Matt sold us on setting up a contract once the moving dust settled. Fast forward a few months later, and our latest system check with Matt went well, with service being just as professional and friendly as our first interaction was, and me now being given additional knowledge of how our system works and what to keep an eye on in the future. We are an African American family living in West Babylon, we contacted Gallett Air to do a 1st floor central air install and a mini split in our garage after seeing raves about them on the West Babylon community Facebook page. My husband explained the urgency needed for the system instillation, a rep came out and did the survey, my son was home and he advised my son someone would get back to him.

After over a week of no call to give us a quote my husband called and was told that rep had an emergency and didn't complete it our quote. a bit aggravated that we did not get a courtesy call we scheduled another survey, and yet again no one has contacted us back. About 2 weeks passed and my husband called them back again, he was told by the secretary, "good thing you called they may have forgotten about you, I will have them call you back".

As of today 4/26/2021, and almost the entire month of back and fourth not a sole has called us back. Our money is green, but I guess in today's climate that doesn't matter anymore. But thanks to their disrespect I saw a company just a few doors down Napco who came and did the survey and is scheduled to do the work all within 3 days! Screw you too Gallett!

Just purchased a new home with central air and have been waking up to the largest dust bunnies, I called Galletair and they were able to make me an appointment so fast, the technicians John and Kevin were so kind and informative. Most definitely recommend and will be using in the future.

Weren't very responsive in giving their proposal and the iffice getting back to us as customers.

I had no heat in the second floor of my house. Matt and Angelo arrived early the next morning and were able to quickly to diagnose the problem. I had my heat back on in no time. They were polite, courteous and professional. Would highly recommend!

I called at 8 am with no heat in mid January. They told me they'd be here as soon as possible and within 1 hour I heat again. The service men we courteous and fixed the issue quickly. Thank you Gallett Air, I recommend them highly.

These guys are very good! They were recommended by our plumbing service for our central heating system. They gave us a window and arrived as early as they could get here. Mike was the tech and was very thorough with explaining what was wrong. A couple days passed and our heat stopped working, however they totally did the right thing by us. Carmine (the owner) and John came for a follow up and stayed until it was fixed for certain.

Oh and no charge for the follow up! Both really nice guys and know their stuff. Absolutely recommend them and although I hope we don't need them any time soon, they will be the first company we will call.

My house was having an issue with a/c ductwork Continually building condensation my ac company couldn't figure out the issue Gallettair came in today and rectified the problem And they were fast professional courteous very Personable. I only wished I found this company sooner Would have saved us aggravation and time Also money I highly recommend these guys for any A/C or gas furnace issues

In July I was concerned my 12 year old Central Air wasn't working as well as it should. Trying to figure out who to call was stressful. Posted in community pages in FB and a lot of different recommendations. Took a chance on GallettAir and it was a great decision. Matt and Angelo the technicians were friendly and professional. The service was done fast and effective.

When my wife called me at work yesterday to say temperature was again not dropping to desired settings I was nervous with an older unit. I noticed fan wasn't turning on outside unit when I got home. I called around 8:30 pm and received a return call within minutes. I described problem and was I formed I would be contacted by office in the morning.

At 7:48 AM the next morning got a call from office and provided options for service. At 9:25 AM Matt and Angelo were at my house again they quickly diagnosed the problem and was up and running again. So thankful to GallettAir, do not hesitate to use them.

My a/c stopped working in June. Gallett came to inspect and found that a part needed to be replaced. It took a week to arrive and then they installed it to the wrong home! I couldn't believe the incompetence. Once they finally installed it, the repairmen didn't bother to check if the a/c was actually working or not. I had to tell them to come back.

Then they find that another part stopped working and informed me that whole ac unit needs to be replaced which will take 4-5 weeks! If they had done their job properly, I could've avoided all this wasted time & money. Will never use this company again!

After paying 2 different Ac companies to show up and fail to diagnose the problem with my central air system I called GallettAir. Carmine the owner of GallettAir was an absolute pleasure to speak and deal with, he treated me as if I were family. GallettAir air showed up exactly when they said they would and there technicians bested the time they originally estimated the job would take.

The area around my unit in my basement was a bit dusty to begin with, When Carmines men left my Ac unit and the immediate area around it were cleaner than when they arrived. I was blown away with the excellence in service that GallettAir air provides Carmine is a no nonsense straight shooter and what he says he does. This type of service I find is hard to come by in this day n age. You will not be disappointed when doing business with GallettAir

My husband and I are somewhat new homeowners (purchased our house almost 2 years ago) and were looking for a company that could come provide a Spring tune up to our HVAC system to ensure there were no problems. I turned to Yelp to find a trust worthy company to use. And since I relied on Yelp to help me, I felt it was only fair that I shared my experience to help someone else too.

The woman who answered the phone at Gallett was very nice (I think her name was Carla) and she answered all my questions and was able to schedule an appointment for me for a day that I was off from work. The technician (I believe it was the owner's son) arrived on time, within the allotted window, and he was polite and professional. He was honest with us and straight to the point.

He checked everything thoroughly and got the system up and running without a problem. While he did leave some information on a service contract with us, he didn't try to force anything on us, which I really appreciate. I was thrilled with the service they provided and will definitely use this company going forward as needed.

Giving a 4 star ratting since I never used them, BUT I am writing this review so carmine the owner knows what he lost. I am building a 4K sq ft home in Babylon, based on knowing many happy customers I contacted galette to do my heating and ac, I even sent my architect drawings couldn't been any easier. I get a return call from a girl in the office saying they have to do a site visit, at the time construction hadn't even begun, it was a dirt lot.

I explained it's a brand new house and I want a price, her response was we don't price houses not yet built, I said are you sure she rudely said yes she was sure. So about a week l later I am in a local deli as I am waiting on the line to order I see a couple of their service guys, they were friendly, nice and as we chatted waiting to order I told him how shocked I was that you guys did not want my job, he explained that he was shocked because they do new homes The gentlemen told me to call carmine and tell him this, I did twice both times never receiving a call back Anyhow Carmine as you read this feel free to contact me but it's too late now to get my business.
