I'm going to say this is a review in progress. Up to 5/25/22 my less than 4 year old unit was working properly. I haven't had any issues with it to the date. It has performed during hot days this year well. On 5/25/22, I requested Logan to come out and do routine preventative maintenance on my unit. After the tech arrived 50 minutes late, he asked me upon arrival, if there were any issues with the unit.
I advised him there were none. I left my residence to return my employer as I had been away for over an hour waiting on Logan to show up. Approximately one hour later, my wife contacts me stating another Logan employee shows up to my residence and leaves maybe 30 mins later. About thirty minutes after that, I get a call from my wife stating that the tech told her our compressor was broken and needed to be replaced.
Keep in mind, the compressor was working just fine the night before. The tech leaves my wife a quote for nearly 3k to repair the compressor that is now damaged. I contact the maintenance supervisor, Dallas, I did not get his last name, and ask him to explain to me why my compressor is no longer working after they arrived on scene. He assured me that if his technician damaged my unit, they would have contacted me to fix the problem, assuring me that they are an ethical company.
I requested to speak to the supervisor of the technician and got him to explain why he was called to my residence in the first place and why I was not contacted. Dallas offered the sales department to give me a quote for a new hvac system. That person, Ryan Hutchens responded to my residence two days later on 5/27/22 and advised that I would have a quote that afternoon.
It is 5/31/22 and I have not seen a quote. My wife also contacted Logan on 5/27 asking for a refund of the $200 plus dollar diagnostic charge since my unit was damaged when they were on site. We were not refunded that charge, however our nearly 3k quote was lowered to 1800 dollars. I called last night, 5/30, requesting an update on my repair status and they advised I would receive a call in the morning.
As you expected, I have not received a phone call, so I called over on 5/31 yet again. I was advised that my repair parts needed to be ordered and would be called when they are. I was also offered a window hvac unit, but have not received a call about that. I had a second opinion done on 5/26 to check my hvac system. That person advised that my compressor was not worn out due to wear and fair, but was damaged during Logan's visit on 5/25.
So far, I am out $240 for a diagnostic check, $450 for a window unit I purchased myself, and a week later I still have no AC with temperatures in the 90s with guests at my residence from out of town. It will be very difficult for me to do business with Logan ever again. Edit- on 6/1 I received the quote and on 6/3/22 they dropped off a window unit to use while my parts are on order.

Keith was my service technician and he did a superb job. He called before arriving, was very motivated and professional with an overall check and maintenance. He's also very knowledgeable with HVAC and instructed me on setting my thermostats which I requested. Services: A/C system maintenance, Heating system maintenance

We have used Logan Htg & Air for more years than I am aware of, and they always have been professional and fair. Michael Clyburn came today and last year for a maintenance call. Both times, he was professional, courteous and thorough. He was a joy to talk to. A nice young man. Service: A/C system maintenance

I've been a customer of Logan's for over 10 years and while I have always had great service I'm so complexed but all the changes with pricing and not getting itemized receipts. I purchased a new HVAC system in November of 2020 after having one for over 25+ years. I never spent over $400 on my old unit and had many issues in the final years until it's end.
Now 1 year and 3 months after purchasing a whole new unit from Logan's it cost over $500 to fix heating strip going bad. After paying the initial fee for the drivers gas to come to my house, diagnosis the issue, and time spent diagnosing I paid $233. The part was supposedly covered under warranty, but I paid another $300 for the tech to go back to get the part and install within 45 mins.
I'm sure the quality of these HVAC are poor like everything else being made these days but this is ridiculous. I normally have the service contract, but failed to add it in time for 2021 since I had a brand new system but that would have only saved me $50 bucks. My services was Wed and I called Logan's Thurs requesting a itemized receipt for my services and still have not received it.
The tech said the parts was under warranty but I don't even have a warranty information from purchasing the HVAC so all I have to go on is their word. You previously would get receipts day of service, so with the technology and software in 2022 they should be able to produce receipts more timely for services. I'm still contemplating if this is the right company to continue a service with.

I'm always impressed with the service I get from Logan techs and staff - from the people who help you make the appointment to the people who come out to do service and repairs. They're friendly, helpful, fair, and fast. Best of all, if they wind up with an earlier opening, they call to see if that's more convenient. Services: Heating system repair, HVAC system maintenance, Thermostat repair, Install thermostat, Heating system maintenance

We've had Logan maintain and service the original HVAC system in our guest house for over twenty-five years. In all that time, we have been pleased with their service and responsiveness to any questions or issues we have had. Everyone at Logan, from the office folks to the techs, treats us like family. When our unit eventually dies, we will rely on Logan to replace and maintain the new one. Thank you, Logan!

Installed generator. The installation team and office personnel were very professional and polite. The service personnel kept me informed as to when they were cutting off the power. They waited until I completed something I was doing on the internet before cutting off the power to the house. After the city inspection was complete, Logan expedited getting the generator up and running. I highly recommend if you are in the market for a generator, you get an estimate from Logan.

The technician we had today (1/5/2022) to come to our home to do the semi-annual maintenance check was courteous, friendly, professional. Over the years, the staff with Logan have consistently held up to these standards. I will continue to use Logan for my HVAC needs. Service: Heating system maintenance

I first chose Logan Heating and Air because they were advertised in our church bulletin. My husband and I like to give our business to local businesses and felt a member of our church would definitely be a safe bet. I signed with them for a service contract, one visit in the spring and one in the fall. Their first visit, they didn't have a filter to fit our main floor unit, so no harm, that happens, they said they would deliver it within the week.
It never came.again at the second visit, they didn't have the same filter and said they would deliver it within the week, again it didn't come. My husband made them make a note of the two filters owed us. I also used them at my rental property, service contract.first visit cost me $149, that's no discount and they wanted to replace a secondary drip pan for $1400!
I said no thanks! Our upstairs unit at our residence then let go one month after their maintenance visit. When I called for a service appointment the service girl immediately started to argue with me that they had NOT done maintenance for the Heat in September. I was annoyed that she was arguing when all I wanted was someone to fix my heat. Needless to say, Logan wanted to charge me $1300 for a new motor!
The tech wasn't out of my driveway and I found a better HVAC company where the motor cost with installation was going to be $300 less! Lesson here.look around you probably can do better than Logan Heating and Air.

Excellent, excellent service and professionalism radiates through the entire company! From the front office staff, Debbie and Christy, to the service technicians and installers, and the sales team, they took care of me like they were taking care of a family member! Service was prompt and professional! I would absolutely use and refer them additional business.
