Treavor my technician was very professional and saved me money by replacing the primer motor instead of selling me a new furnace. This way I'll get a couple more years out of my furnace and when the time comes they will get my business for a new furnace. Thank you Major Heating & Air!

Very poor customer service and left me high and dry. Heat in my residence wouldn't work so paid Major $90 for a tech visit. Diagnosis was that I needed a new custom retrofit thermostat at around $1100, so I wanted to submit the repair as a claim to my home systems warranty. Major's office staff initially said they'd gladly prepare a detailed estimate and wrote a brief letter I could submit to my warranty provider. However, after numerous phone calls and several empty promises by office staff over three weeks, they failed to perform.

As a result, my warranty claim was cancelled and will likely be denied as a pre-exiating co edition if I try to resubmit it later on. Thernostat still not fixed. Numerous other reviews share similar stories of Major leaving them hanging; do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

They were able to get to our house within an hour of calling after trying many other heating companies who didn't answer, did poor work at our house previously, didn't call back, etc. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future! Service: Heating system repair

Major Heating and Air sent a representative out to look at our situation and write up a quote in October 2020. Even though we followed up with him on several occasions, two months later we never received a quote. At this point, we will find something who wants to do the job to help us.

Donie came over yesterday and assessed my boiler. Said a part a different firm said needed to be replaced just needed a bit of corrosion to be buffed out as it was cosmetic only. He also handled a couple other minor issues. Great guy! Very knowledgable and friendly. I appreciated not having to replace the part! Great people all around. Thank you!

11 Hours to replace a gas valve, electronic ignitor and low water safety on my boiler, it adds up fast @ the hourly bill rate. On the 11th hour the boiler was still in-operable, unavailable parts, I asked the tech to leave and had the boiler up and running, making hot water by the end of the day. Had I not asked the tech to leave bill would have been over 3K.

On simple service call to fix the heating system which turned into continuous hassles and making payments for $3k+ over a 4 week period with no heat, waiting on wrong parts ordered and begging to get it fixed. No customer care from home office and no clue what the field team is doing or charging you. After all that I had to start over with new company to actually get it fixed and then month later I was sent additional bogus invoices to add insult to injury thus my posting. Do yourself a big favor steer clear of major. No stars.

I have used Major Heating for several repairs over many years. Every tech that has been here has been punctual and professional. Well, it finally happened, I needed to actually replace my 25 year old furnace. Of course, I used Major for the replacement furnace. The installer, David, was not only punctual, but early. David and his team worked hard throughout the day to ensure I was up and running before the snow started tonight.

After finishing the project, David ran through everything that he did and how to properly operate everything. Also, part of the previous piping had been improperly installed leading to a small Carbon Monoxide leak that David caught and addressed w/ new tubing. Tonight we will sleep soundly in a warm house with a properly functioning furnace all thanks to the excellent work and service provided by Major Heating and Air Conditioning.

Was told the tech would be by in less than 10 min as he was 'a few blocks away'. He shows up an hour + late, finds the furnace issue fault in less than 2 min (loose wire), then bills me for 1.5 hours of work, stating that they charge for travel time from the last job. He said he had to travel from another city, during rush hour, etc. Totally corrupt system when it comes to billing.

The office manager failed to share this info and did not provide a discount as most services charge, once they arrive at a job. I argued the fact that what if the tech didnt show up for 3 hours, would I have been billed for that too? They didint deny that they would. Pretty sure this practice is illegal, especially since it was not explained before, and was lied to about arrival time.

Major heating is old school, small town, down to earth good solid company! I have an 1896 Victorian that had the original steam boiler in it which they have serviced for years to help me make it last. Unfortunately and just died and they did an amazing job of installing a new efficient beautiful new boiler. I just can't say enough good things about them!

Called with no heat over a weekend. Prompt and courteous reply. Told no one could come out until Tues but they made it happen same day. Very prompt perineal and efficient service. No one better. Call them

Just had them out to service my A/C through a Groupon deal, and I couldn't be happier (which is fare in the world of "home service Groupon deals" especially). The technician (Treavor), was extremely professional and courteous, and took the time to explain everything about our A/C system in our home and let me follow him around asking questions the whole time.

He was very up front about the current condition of the system, the services needed, and even some basic maintenance tips I could do myself. It is because of this honesty and dedication to quality service that I will absolutely be using them again in the future.

They were horrible. Horrible customer service and follow up. They came out to one of my rental properties and then never followed up or even attempted to fix the problem. Just decided to bill me, send invoices to the wrong property and then send me to collections. Very rude and unprofessional. Since then they have lost the contract with condo building which makes sense.
