When I called to schedule a routine maintenance visit, the person on the phone was very courteous and accommodating. The technician (Josh) was also very courteous and thorough. He answered my questions adequately and explained a bit more about our system. We recently moved into the area from northeast Indiana and used Thiele shortly after we arrived for our repairs. In both situations we have been very pleased with their response and are glad they will take care of our systems.

Thiele is reliable and their technicians are polite and professional. They do good work and let you know what they did and if there are any issues. I called Thiele Heating and air conditioning to come out and see why my heat was not working. They had not only 1, but 2 MEN come out to tell me I had NO furnace. They gave me quote for $11,000.00 for a heat pump and a new furnace installation and then added a 20% discount and said I could finance for 72 months no interest. I wanted to get another estimate so I called Rick SWEETS heating and cooling to come out and with in ONE minute of him being in my house, he told me I HAVE A FURNACE!
All he did was fix the wiring in my panel and BOOM I had heat immediately! Me being a single woman in a new house, Thiele heating and Air conditioning company absolutely took the opportunity to take advantage of me. Almost had me in a 72 month contract for something I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT NEED! I called to get a refund for my non " diagnosis", and they refused. I would never in my life recommend this company. I can't imagine how many other people they have screwed over!

We recently built a new house in Carmel. Our builder used another HVAC vendor which was obviously fine. However, when it came time for periodic service we called on Thiele. We had Thiele install an entire system in a previous house and then we had them do the maintenance program as well. We have always been very pleased with Thiele. Our tech today was very professional, very personable, and very capable. We signed on for the annual maintenance program and I'm sure we will be very pleased with their semi-annual maintenance.

The technician was super-friendly and fast. I had another local company come check out the job and they were trying to sell me a new unit and duct-cleaning. Thiele quickly diagnosed the a/c as just needing a new capacitator, which are kept on the service truck. I appreciate their honestly and not trying to take advantage of and rip off a single lady.

Thiele came to my rescue today! Technician Rob arrived at the designated time, wearing his mask this afternoon. This kindness makes this Senior Citizen feel safe! After 28 years, my flex ductwork was done. Thiele replaced my ductwork at a substantially lower cost compared to a cleaning. I had a cleaning quote of $500 from another company. Thank you Thiele Heating and Air Conditioning for helping out like an old friend.

You are phenomenal! I just spent 9600.00 on great new unit. They undersold Williams Comfort and air by 3 thousand dollars. They got to us within 2 days of operation and added two years of FREE service. The new unit is an upgrade of the old one. It's 98% efficient and multi stage it's so quiet. The cool new thermostat is WiFi compatible and controls humidity and dehumidification as well. If you want a quick turnaround on a quality unit at an affordable price give them.

I got a new system back in August 2018, I went to turn on my a/c 2 weeks before memorial day weekend 2019 and I did not have cold air. I called the office and was told they would be out in a week (on a Friday.) I had to call to verify to make sure that they were in fact coming because it was after 5pm and they still had not been here, with no communication.
They came and filled it with freon and put dye in it so they could see where it was leaking. I was told they would call to schedule a time to come back. I had to call them and they came out that Friday and said it was leaking from a spot that they didn't have the parts to fix and would be back in a week (on Friday.) During that time I ran out of freon again and my coils froze over.
When they thawed out it leaked into my basement. They came out Monday and still did not have the right pieces to fix it. I was also told that my appointment for Friday was canceled because the tech was coming out to put more freon in it. I talked with him and said that someone needed to come out because putting more freon in it was not fixing the problem and is in fact not safe.
So here we are a month later and still no ac. I would not recommend Thiele to anyone based off of the lack of customer service. This is their mistake from poor installation. I wish it was an option to have them come and take their system back out and refund my money.

Thiele provided the best costumer service we have seen in years. Our heat went out on a cold winter morning and Thiele Technicians came to service our unit by the end of that business day. Unfortunately our 16year old furnace was cracked and leaking CO2 into our air. Three kind service men installed a new furnace the next day! We are so grateful for their help. I will always recommend Thiele! They are kind, professional, and honest.

Stop saying you offer 24 hour service. After two phone calls and four hours of waiting we gave up and called someone else. We stressed the importance as my father is 70 with COPD. TWICE the person said she was sending out a call to all the techs and someone would call us shortly. When they say "24 hour service" they mean someone answers the phone but they don't really come out. They just waste your time by having you wait for nothing

Michael was my technician and what a great example of professionalism and humility. He was cordial, well mannered, jovial and very detailed in his assessment of my a/c. I was able to follow him all around and when he saw the problem his initial assessment was correct. But instead of leaving right away, he continued his assessment that included my outside unit, my air filter and the heating element. I recommend without reservation Michael of Thiele heating and air

Terrible service. Took off work for an entire day to wait around for a representative to come to the house to work on the air conditioner. Never showed up. I called the customer service representative and was treated very poorly. The representative was rude and condescending. Would not recommend to anyone that is looking for good customer service and punctuality

I had Thiele out last year to replace my air conditioner and evaporator coil. I got estimates from three different companies (I work for an industrial contractor, so I'm pretty used to getting bids, etc.) and, while the numbers were all pretty close, Thiele came in as the lowest. Their website claims they're ranked highly by Angie's List, so I figured I'd give them a shot.
Their guys came out and did the work in an afternoon - they removed the old unit and coil, installed the new items, ran new refrigerant lines, installed a new humidifier, and installed a new thermostat. The workers were professional and did all the work cleanly and safely. Once they were done they walked me through their work, made sure I knew how to operate everything, and answered all my questions. Thiele did a good job and I was glad I hired them.

I had a 2nd issue with my furnace and Thiele really took advantage. I called and told them a just had a tech here and my furnace was not working again. I was told since it was Saturday the diagnostic charge would be $119.95. I told the man on the phone they were just too expensive and I hung up. They gave me a contract for on-going service. I threw it in the trash.
I called a competitor and he was here almost 2 hours, diagnosed the problem, but he didn't have the part. He charged me $49.95. It is nice to see there are some honest companies out there. I tore the service sheet from Thiele off of my furnace. I will not be calling them again. RiP-OFF!

If I could give less than one star I would. The people at this company are rude and don't care to provide service to previous customers. I called and made an appointment to have my boiler serviced and was given a time. When the day came, no service person showed up. I called to find out where they were and was told that they don't do service in my area.
When I asked why they hadn't called to tell me this, I was told they had. When I said, no they hadn't, she was rude and acted like I was lying. The real dig here is that they installed the boiler - I am really sorry these people bought this business. It used to be really good. Called to check the price on an A/C tune-up and was told it would cost $89.95. Tech came out and did the work while my wife was at home and charged $85 extra for 30 minutes of labor for a total bill of $175. When I called to dispute the overcharge I was told I had to speak with the owner, John Traub, about any price disputes. I left three messages for John over a week's period of time and was never called back. I would not recommend using this company to anyone.
