Have used John Moore Electrical Services several times now. Most recently, removed a blown Whole House Surge Suppressor device & advised on how to pursue a proper warranty claim with the vendor. Each time they have been completely profession & honest about giving advice, even advising what is worth doing, not worth doing, rather than simply running up the bill. I had a bathroom exhaust fan with light installed. I called John Moore and they came out and gave me an estimate. I thought it was kind of pricey, but hired them for peace of mind. I wanted someone that was professional and trust worthy. I love that they sent a picture of the technician before his arrival so I knew exactly who to look for. I've used John Moore's services before and continually go back to them when in need for repairs. This time was for A/C repairs. Our A/C wasn't cooling. Technician Jordan Rodriguez was extremely thorough and very knowledgeable about A/C repairs. He offered a few options for repairs which was nice to have choices to consider. He was very pleasant with my dogs which I appreciate, and was considerate to wear shoe covers inside (some service companies you have to request this and even then, it's forgotten). I appreciated Jordan's professionalism.

Had a whole-house water filtration system installed as well as whole-house surge protector. Great service, professional, patient, courteous, punctual. The prices may be a little higher than other plumbers, however, you get what you pay for. John Moore Plumbing has been great every step of the way. Very responsive to calls, great customer service via phone and in-person. Will definitely recommend!

This is the second time that we've used John Moore. Josh did an absolutely fantastic job, was very professional and was very clear in explaining what was needed and in giving me my available options. I only wish that the fees charged by John Moore Plumbing were a bit more reasonable. they are in fact, about the highest fees that I have found, and I've used a number of plumbing services. For that reason, I may be shopping around next time, for something a bit more reasonable in price, but as far as quality, and the service Josh provided, it was top notch!

Our experience with John Moore was so awful that I'm compelled to warn others. The company is thoroughly dishonest and charges exorbitant prices. We needed a gas leak repaired. The plumber lied and told us that they were legally required to bring all of the plumbing in the house up to code before they could release us to have the gas turned back on.
By the way, that included bringing their roofer in to modify the vent pipes and re-roof the area. We argued, but he insisted that was BY LAW. We were desperate for heat and hot water in January and reluctantly accepted his nearly $10,000 quote. Several contractor friends contacted me to tell me that repairs don't trigger code repairs to the entire house.
Multiple neighbors told us to break the contract and told us about their own horror stories with John Moore. JM had already sent a couple of laborers out to dig a hole just before we canceled the contract. The digging took them 15 minutes and the hole was 34" long. John Moore charged us $1,045 for the hole. The honest plumbers charged us a total of $1,600 for the repairs.
More than half of the repairs that JM insisted were "legally required" were completely unnecessary. The honest plumbers laughed at both the size and cost of the hole. The pipes that were repaired are an inch or so below the surface. Btw, they filled it up for free. This is the company's business model. When I complained about the lies to customer service, I was told that they adhere to "the state's code".
That is not required to have repairs done and gas restored. Their plumber's statements were outright lies to run up the bill. The stories friends and contractors told me go back 20 years. Reportedly, JM employees are on commission. I should have known something was wrong when the plumber called into the office and said he was on a "sales call", not a repair job. Ricardo Lopez came to assess my water heater that was put in by another company before I bought my service contract with John Moore Services because the pilot would not stay lit. As it turns out, the other company did a poor job of installing the water heater, and I had water damage in my attic, too. Ricardo was very professional and he clearly explained in detail (and showed me) everything that was wrong and needed repair so that I could fully understand.
He also hand wrote everything down for me and followed up with an email of itemized costs of repairs. Additionally, he advised me to contact the installation company first to see if there was a warranty or if they would make this right for me. He also informed me that I could contact the water heater company to request to have the gas valve and pilot assembly sent to me. However, he stated that some customer choose to go ahead and pay for the repair vs. wait for the parts as the wait has often been a lengthy amount of time.
I cannot say enough good things about the service Ricardo provided. He is thorough, friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable, and I have requested to have him assigned for all of my future plumbing work as I fully trust him. He is an outstanding asset to John Moore Services.

Joseph from John Moore installed a water heater in my home this past Saturday. He was very friendly and did his work professionally. I'm very satisfied with the work he did. Our water heater was almost 50 years old! I walked outside early in the morning and had water running down the driveway. I was nervous because I didn't know what to do. I called ARS and Abacus and was told that someone couldn't be over until the following Monday.
I wasn't going to live without hot water for a weekend. I have a disabled father who needs care. I called John Moore and they were here that morning and my install was the next day. Joseph cleaned the garage and took away the old water heater. I recommend John Moore. They are a wonderful company!

We were experiencing electrical issues and reached out to John Moore Services and scheduled an electrician to inspect our set up. Mr. Jedd Johnson was dispatched and arrived on time as promised. He very quickly identified our issues and explained what was causing our problems and the safety risks that we had in a clear and professional manor. He outlined why we were having the problems and made recommendations on what repairs were needed to return our electrical service back up to code and SAFE operations. Mr. Johnson completed the work and again explained why it was necessary.
We are very pleased with the work and greatly appreciated the time that Mr. Johnson took to ensure that we understood what and why the repairs were required. He was a true professional. Samuel Rodriguez was my technician. This guy is as good as they get. He was meticulous and took his time to make sure everything was repaired properly, cleaned up everything when he was done and worked until 11 pm to get the job done! I would hire this guy to work for me any day. Kudos to John Moore for hiring guys that really care to treat the customer with respect and truly care about their work. After this experience I'm a HUGE fan!

Great job by Charles James, who did my annual furnace and air con inspection. He noticed that a very expensive electronic air cleaner that I had installed last year had been wired incorrectly and had burned out - i.e. probably never worked. He replaced the burned out unit for free and wired it up correctly. Thanks, Charles! Happy to have you back next year.

I had an issue with my thermostat wiring and needed help getting a diagnostic test / evaluation of my HVAC system. Tom L. was unbelievably helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I'm a first time home-buyer so I wanted to soak in as much information as possible as well, and he was happy to talk through long-term maintenance and issues. I've had several HVAC professionals perform maintenance before, but Tom walked me through exactly what he was doing and helped me understand each nuance of the process.
